    Scratch Rod

Isn't the whole meaning behind this to look rough? Very cool indeed.
  2. Yes they were really cool and if I remember right was done on a very tight budget but still managed to be competitive. Thanks for all the kind comments.
  3. Now that's something different, and I like it, the weathering looks convincing to me.
  4. That's a tough looking truck, I love it.
  5. Very clean and realistic looking Blitz.
  6. "For sale", well maybe I should buy it then, my own one is starting to look a bit beat up.... Nice work.
  7. Nice offroad toy, I would gladly drive the h..... out of it.
  8. Cool custom truck, is it the Moebius kit?
  9. This is how all BRATs looked after some years, I am going to do something similar to replicate my aunts BRAT I think, it was also very beat up. Nice weathering!
  10. Clean Camino, I like this front so much better than the SS front.
  11. Nice work, well done, looks right to me.
  12. Especially since the undercoating seems to be a bit thin around some creases, nice.
  13. Still holds up!
  14. I have some kind of urge to convert an early SAAB. They must be quite easy to power with their low drag, low weight and narrow tyres. The two stroke engines held the fuel economy back though....
  15. A guy I knew (drowned some years ago ) had a very nice Monarch in the early 2000s, sure it was of course not flawless but a well maintained car, I have to say that I was a bit in love with it.... When I saw it two years later it was painted flat black with a roller, someone had been jumping on the roof (factory sunroof car too! ), interior was filthy and the rockers were coated with rubber after too many burnouts in reverse..... Very sad indeed.
  16. My friend worked as a mechanic at our local Mercedes-Benz truck and van dealer. He once sent out a trainee to get him a can of vacuum....
  17. Thanks. This kit is modelled after the cars Volvo raced with in DTM and ETC in the 80s so it comes with decals for a full racing livery (on white bottom), but as I said I ruined the decals but it looks great this way too. Even if a full cage and centre lug wheels isn't what most white Volvos have, lol.
  18. It has just about the right amount of chop, the paintjob looks great and so does everything else too, lovely.
  19. Nice with a stocker among all hot rodded model A:s. Great job!
  20. I'm speechless, the impression of speed is simply amazing.....one of the coolest dios I have ever seen, I think.
  21. A tip that might come in handy next time, test fit things like the hood before painting, if it doesn't fit, put it under some hot water and it often becomes soft enough to be bent into shape until it fits. But I like your build!
  22. Prewar cars are among my favourite modelling subjects, I have a similar Monogram kit, is there anything I should know about it before building?
