  1. Beautiful pair of Westfalias, especially like the T-2. Mine was a '72, blue with a white top. Have kicked myself in the posterior several times for getting rid of it. Do you have any interior shots?
  2. Met a beautiful 67 Chevelle. It was light purple, tires all the way across the back, and a set of wheelie bars hanging under it. Looks like it just drove out of the AMT Chevelle Pro- Street box. Of course I was heading in the other direction at a modest number above the posted and my telephone is strapped under my seatbelt, so I didn't get any pictures.
  3. Mighty fine Mustang. Really like the cleanliness of the build and your photographic presentation is outstanding.
  4. Sweet little Modified Production, everything about it fits the era very well.
  5. An amazing rebuild. All the small details just bring the whole thing to life. That Flathead is an amazing piece of modeling.
  6. A couple of really nice-looking builds. To me that era of drag-racing was what drag-racing was all about. Build it, haul it to the track, and run it to the floor all the way through the lights. Real drag cars do not need brake lights.
  7. Just went through the WIP, great concept and some outstanding detail work. I really like the "fighter aircraft" cockpit controls.
  8. The Rite-Aid near me has been a Doller Tree for quite some time.
  9. Some very nice drawings. I see you have a penchant for VWs, so do I.
  10. Somehow this one snuck by me. You have built a very sweet Bug, really like your color selection. I had a '67 for a couple of years, you could move the floor mat and see the highway under your feet, but it got me there and back - most of the time. Sold it and bought a '72 Westphalia, I've kicked myself in the backside several times for getting rid of that one.
  11. I was actually referring to the blue and white one parked beside the Chaparral.
  12. The motor from the MPC Indy Lotus Turbine Car push tractor should work, or maybe the go-cart engine in the AMT 60 Chevrolet truck kit.
  13. As it should be; really enjoyed watching this build. I'm curious about the 56/8 Chevy pickup, have you done a build thread on that one?
  14. Very nice build, excellent decal work. The car has just dumped the clutch so the front-end will rise considerably - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. May have to try to locate one of these. Saw a couple in a Hobby Lobby down in Matthews, NC, but that is quite a distance from me.
  15. Just tried it and it opened with three options on blue bars: Model Kits, Revell Models, BMX Models. When I clicked on Model Kits it changed to another black screen with a bunch of small print and a blue bar: Visit our Website. When I clicked that blue bar the HobbyLinc website opened up. Not sure what that has to do with Dirt Modeler.
  16. Dave, we really appreciate your work to keep this site working.
  17. Forum worked fine when I first loaded it, then rather quickly went down hill. I switched from Chrome to Firefox, still no difference. Very slow loading, especially pictures, also slow loading of replies. Can take as long as 35-40 seconds or longer to open a page. At first I closed the forum, then reopened it, still no difference. This reply is being submitted with Firefox.
  18. Very nice build, especially like the color. Even though I am a died in the wool Ford guy, I wouldn't mind having one like this parked on my carport.
  19. But then all the fun will be over. Looking forward to the "Under Glass" posts.
  20. Don't know where to begin recognizing the outstanding exceptional work you are doing with this build. Every detail, whether minor or major is a work of art. I have always been a fan of the GT-40 and other Ford racers, but never really familiar with the mechanics of the car. I have always heard real race cars have three pedals; however, this one has four. All I can figure it to be is a dimmer switch or maybe a footrest, what is its real function?
  21. Was heading into town in the Pinto, so I was driving the back roads. Met a Cobra roadster wanna be (pretty sure a kit car). But what really got me was a Ford Raptor flatbed. Someone has removed the stock pick-up box and replaced it with what appeared to be a homemade wooden flatbed.
  22. What are these instructions you speak of? Very nice Land Rover and I do think you came very close to the factory colors. Nice detail overall. Also agree with you on the headlight screens. There are a bunch of levers protruding through the floorboards, what are they for. I know one is the shifter, another is four-wheel drive, and another possibly emergency brake, can't figure out the other two.
  23. What they said. The detail you put into this build is simply outstanding. Beautiful racer, and I was also amused by the cardboard and duct tape headlight covers.
  24. I have been using an eye-drop for glaucoma for a few years. I get it from a prescription mail-service, who shall remain nameless. It is supposed to be on auto-refill. Last night I used the last drop, so I went to my storage refrigerator and realized I did not have any more. Have been trying all day to contact them and cannot get on the website nor can I get a phone call through to them. I am irked at myself because I didn't realize I was getting low and should have contacted them. Yet, I depend on them to auto-refill my prescriptions or notify me if there is any kind of problem and neither has been done. Hopefully tomorrow they will be back in contact mode, but even then, I will be without the medication for at least three or four days.
