  1. Love those door-slammer cars. One fine looking Super Stocker.
  2. Been perusing a stack of mid 50's to early 60's Rod & Custom magazines and I could swear I saw one just like this in one of them. What I am saying is this T-Bucket fits the style of that time frame. It is one cool hot rod. BTW where did those front tires come from?
  3. Not exactly on the road but this was in the body shop that I took my Pinto to. Not a motorcycle guy, but you have to appreciate great workmanship and creativity.
  4. Yes, but it would be a pleasure to drive. All the little kiddies are in a separate unit from the driver.
  5. Your craftsmanship and use of unconventional items is amazing. I am thoroughly enjoying this build.
  6. Got these from an on-line auction. Haven't had time to go through them yet, but the few I have looked through already have me scouring my stash for buildable kits. There is some really neat stuff. The smalls go back at least to April 1956, maybe earlier. Some of the smalls have modeling articles in them, as do most of the full-size.
  7. Don't know how I missed this one. That sir is a masterful piece of creativity. Overall excellent build and the paint is exceptional. Very nicely done.
  8. Oh yeah, that is one sweet modified. That is the style racer I grew up watching at Bowman Gray Stadium and twice a year at Martinsville and North Wilkesboro Speedway. Beautiful ride.
  9. Not sure what it is but would not want to apply BMF to a model of it.
  10. Beautiful build. Loved to watch Bob Glidden run.
  11. For some reason the "return arrow" up in the left-hand corner of the page has been replaced with the "refresh" circle. It is not only on this site but throughout my computer. I have done a restart with no results. When I try to clear cache and cookies nothing happens. I click on the "clear" button and nothing happens. Any advice?
  12. Since the dash is flat black, I would suggest using a toothpick to put a small drop of flat clear where you want the vents then place the vents on that spot of paint. It will dry flat and will hold the vent in place.
  13. I made it. A man came by the table and I said, "Let me make you a deal on everything I got," meaning of course whatever you are looking for. He replied, "OK, how much for all of it?" I made him a quote, which was way too low, and he took it. Kind of glad I didn't have to bring it all back home, but I let some really good stuff go for pennies on the dollar. Now I will have to go through my stash again and get a box ready for the Simpsonville Show next month, I already have a table reserved. Pretty good show overall. I won a couple in the raffle that will be going in my for-sale pile. Found a kit of an F-4D that had decals for Capt. Steve Ritchie's ace. I was at Udorn, Thailand when he scored his 2nd and 3rd kills and worked on that particular F-4, I had to have it and the price was really good. Also picked up one of Fast-Trax's Moebius's Chevy II Gassers for $20, couldn't pass up a deal like that. Wish we could have met up, maybe at the CKM show in Clemmons.
  14. Got one of these in the stash, may use some of your tips - when I get to it. Sort of like a "roundtoit". Anyway congrats on the award.
  15. Going to be an interesting build. I must agree the six-wheel look is a bit too much.
  16. Very nice work.
  17. Bought this on an on-line auction back in January, finally got it delivered today. Needs some work, but it will be better on gas mileage than my 5.0 F-150 4X4. 1980 Pinto (last year of production) auto (slips when cold, will replace fluid & filter) AM radio (have Pioneer am/fm.cd with 2 4X6 speakers), going to be a project car for sure.
  18. Finally, a Smart Car with a purpose. Very imaginative build.
  19. Like the way you are going with this build. That is going to be one loud ride.
  20. I do not know what to say other than what has already been said. This is one excellent piece of model-building craftsmanship. I really like this particular model of the Chaparral, not too crazy about the later vacuum cleaner designs. Jim Hall did it right with this one and so have you in the recreation.
  21. You have done some really nice bodywork. IMHO for a full custom as this one the rear should be a bit lower but leave the front where it is. Maybe have the rocker panel sitting level with the ground. Again, this is just my opinion, whatever looks good to you is the way to do it
  22. Very nice Mustang, especially like what you have done under the hood.
  23. Got my table reserved, bring lots of money ?.
  24. And happy you should be. That is a very well built and weathered pick-up.
