    Tough to be completely accurate when you're working with basically a 2hr time limit. Condense the important bits, tell the story, make it fit. Still, looks good to me. I'll be seeing it for sure.

    With the skills kids today have on computers, it would be interesting to see what kind of vehicles a teen would design now. In typical 60s fashion, no girls allowed.

    There is a mesh screen, but it is hidden quite a way inside the duct work. You can't really see it on the 1:1 unless you get right up close.

    A local performance shop held their season opener show this past weekend. Didn't get too many pics, but here's a few that caught my attention.

    Canadian band Big Sugar. They have cars on a significant chunk of their albums. They even named one of their albums "Hemi-vision." Any guesses as to leader Gordie Johnson's brand of choice? And Ministry had this. I even had the shirt back in the day. And a classic. Def Leppard.

    Maybe there's hope. I mean, in the past five years, we've seen a couple of Pacer reissues and a couple of Gremlin reissues. I'd love a Javelin kit or two, and a reissue of the Matador.

    Built this a couple of years ago, and loved it. I like the colour choice. Very similar to the most recent Volvo FH trucks featured in their ads.

    As a card carrying member of MUFON, I love it! I wonder though...where the heck is that truck driver going to tow that thing for repairs. I'm guessing parts are not common.

    I mowed my lawn, took the pupper for a walk, and took my daughter to two car shows. Edmonton Vintage VW Association had their yearly show, and a local performance shop had their show n shine.

    you can get the Ranger in extended cab with a 6ft box too. The crewcab will outsell it by at least 4 to 1 though. Minimum. The thing is, for most people who want a truck, they don't need a big box. Throw a coupe bikes back there. Maybe hockey bags, the kids' toboggans. Maybe a trip to Home Depot on occasion. You're right, most people ultimately want an SUV with a tiny bed. That's why even on the half tons, the crewcab with the short box is the most common configuration we see.

    I hear this one a lot here at work. Why would I pay $50k for a Ranger, when I can get an F150 with the same equipment for the same price? Well, because you're getting all of the same equipment, just in a smaller package. Everyone assumes smaller equals cheaper. And it shouldn't. Chevrolet Avalanche Honda Ridgeline Subaru Baja It's been tried, and despite the sales success of the Avalanche and the Ridgeline, the models were changed. Avalanche cancelled, Ridgeline turned into something more closely approximating a truck. Generally, the market wants SUVs and trucks, not a combo of the two.
