Weed officially becomes legal here in Canada tomorrow. Medicinal weed has been legal for almost 20 years now, but recreational weed is now being legalized. I could not be more disinterested in a subject than I am about this..

More importantly for me, he was a major music nerd! He spent something like $250 million of his own money to open the Experience Music Project in Seattle, which is a pretty amazing music museum. And he had a band. They weren't amazing, but they were solid.

Ultimate Weekend Warrior 4X4 - Community Build

Mine is slooooooowly coming along. But progress is being made! -
I have two of the DOH cars, and a Yodel Monaco. Plus a couple of resin Plymouth conversion bits from some Shapeways vendors. I love these old boats! Anyone do a resin kit of a Dodge or Plymouth Fury wagon of this era? That would be awesome.

The colour choice is great, and steelies are perfect on these cars. I like it!

I'd love to see the vans idea come back.

Moebius '65 F-100 Flareside Pickup!
iamsuperdan replied to Art Anderson's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Okay everyone. There is no "right" way to build a kit. This has come up so many times in the past couple of weeks. If you want to correct any flaws, real or perceived, then you are right and should totally do so. If you just want a kit that looks good and will leave it, you are right and should totally do so. If you're doing what makes you happy, then you are right and that doesn't make everyone else wrong. Enough with the bickering and passive aggressive calling out of one another. Seriously. Some of you take your opinions way too seriously. That goes for people on both sides of the accuracy fence. -
Wait...are you guys saying there's no "statute of limitations" on tragedies?!

Yeah, the AWD Astro vans are not designed for off road. It's an all wheel drive system for better traction and safety on road. Although, you can get lift kits. And there are companies doing proper off road ready lift kits. On a somewhat related note, my company has about 200-300 Quigley 4X4 vans in the fleet. GMC/Chev full size vans and Ford Transits. I love them. Full 4X4 conversion, a real transfer case, 4HI and 4LO, and 3" lift kits. On a van.

Sort of. He has sort of a cult following, and is more of a boutique brand. And the folks at the NAMM convesntions still won't let him have a booth, even though he's a member. And Gibson, who is one of the most copied brands out there, seem to delight in giving him cease and desist letters. Snoop around the website, lots of references to Gibson Guitars and their lawyers. The Facebook page is pretty funny too. But, he does well, sells guitars. Even Slash wears his gear! I have one of the t-shirts. Big logo and the catch phrase "If you don't like V----- then you probably play keyboards." I don't wear it though, because I'm a grown up with kids. lolz

Actually...that's not bad. I've seen it listed for around $1k in places! -
Every time someone posts one of these, I kick myself. I traded the one I had last year. Can't even remember what I traded it for.

I found the last 4X4 reg cab Chev truck in western Canada. And it's even in my client's colour. The reg cab finished production back in May, and the new body reg cabs won't be arriving here until spring 2019 at the earliest. Feel pretty good about snagging this one.

A good friend of mine has a band called Punch Drunk Cabaret. He's the singer/guitarist. They just released their latest video a couple of weeks ago. Was a killer release party at a local club. If you like a little Stray Cats, a little swing, a little rock n roll, check these guys out. They're on Spotify, and have a bunch of videos on You Tube. And if you're in western Canada, watch for them, as they tour quite a bit, and the show is entertaining. -
Whoa. I cannot imagine what you must have been going through over the past week. My thoughts are with you my friend.

Okay, how do I word this? Umm...for inspiration, you should look at the Astro van used by a guitar company whose name starts with V and is named after a part of the female reproductive system. Here's a link. Don't worry, there's nothing graphic, unless you're offended by a word starting with V. Lifted "guitar" van images It's a black Astro, lifted, with oversized white wheels. Last I read, he was swapping in a 6.2L V8 from an Escalade. Looks a lot like your original image. As an aside, the company is real, I've played one, and it's fantastic!

Holy cow. I seriously thought picture one was a reference pic of the real thing. Your use of forced perspective and natural lighting is amazing. Very, very nicely done! -

Wow. Jamie's reliance on old equipment is getting a little ridiculous. Watching episode 4 will show you why new is sometimes better. Two examples where the jobs could have been completed in half the time, had equipment made in the past 40 years been used. Literally. Even Colin treats it like a joke.
