  1. This stuff lays down a really nice flat black.
  2. I still use that cement too. I like that it's a little viscous and holds parts in place pretty quickly even before it's dry.
  3. Western Electric gearing up for domestic production of guitar amp tubes to fulfil demand https://www.guitarworld.com/news/western-electric-american-guitar-amp-tubes
  4. That's a great build. I built one of those tractors, but no diorama of farm equipment.
  5. That's a killer diorama.?
  6. Looks really good!?
  7. Here's my cute little Louie. This video is from 10 years ago. He's a 11 now.
  8. He sure has beautiful eyes.
  9. Maybe some rust. Just take a look at the brake rotors of cars that have been sitting around for a while, or even the day after a rainstorm. The rotors will have rust on them.
  10. Here's another one I got turned on to in collge.
  11. I just came across this video. I haven't watched it yet.
  12. I got turned on to these when I was in college:
  13. These still work but you have to learn how to use them. Of course it's not electronic either.
  14. Looks really cool. I like the fade job. When you think about the deign, the fork specifically. I don't think it would be able to actually turn a corner with that extreme rake angle. Plus the springs on the fork probably wouldn't even compress. The rods will flex, that's all.?
  15. That is once crazy machine. It would be a monstrosity to drive.?
  16. Looks really good.?
  17. Very nice looking builds.?
  18. Thanks everybody. I'm glad you like this old build.
  19. It's mostly metal. I built it around '83 or '84. I did a little restoration to it a couple of years ago. The windscreen was missing. I was able to get the few parts I needed from Italeri. Funny about the windscreen. The clear plastic part from the kit was way to small to fit in the frame. But it was real easy to cut a new piece as it was flat. The "15" decals in the rear were dry transfers. They look painted on. But they gave masks for the "15" on the hood and the radiator. You can only see the "15" on the radiator on the 3/4 angle shots. For some reason it doesn't show up in the front shot. That's BMF on the exhaust heat shield in the photo below. I did the floor board with some wood veneer from a metal cigar tube. I don't smoke those stinky things, they reek. The kit comes with a piece of contact paper.
  20. Very nice build.
  21. Nice clean build.
