  1. I just ordered one from Burbank HoH on eBay. Looking forward to its arrival.
  2. Perfect "daily driver"!
  3. It might help to start at one end of the script and work towards the other end with the burnishing, instead of stretching the foil across the entire script first. Stretching it might create too much tension in the foil, and cause it to crack when you try to burnish it into the recesses of the script.
  4. Stunning build. Glassy smooth blue paint! Well done!
  5. "Unusual" comes to mind.
  6. Hmmmmm....seem to be having trouble opening the links on this android.
  7. Very nice build, Michelle! I like the colors you chose. FYI....in 1966, there was no R/T. The top model Coronet would have been the 500. Also, no kit of the '66 Coronet has been issued. There might be a resin version available, but I'm not aware of one.
  8. I've built around 175 1/24 and 1/25 models since about 1984. All my models done previous to that year were lost, including my very first ones from around 1963. Maybe 150 in that lot.

    1966 Nova

Very tidy build! Great color, too!
  10. 1962 Chevrolet "Palamino": A combination of AMT '62 Impala convertible body, AMT '59 ElCamino chassis, AMT '65 ElCamino bed, and MONOGRAM '58 Thunderbird roof. The payload in the last pic is an award winning go-cart built by Tommy May.
  11. Buick Grand Camino: A blending of the Buick Grand National kit, and the '78 ElCamino kit, I used the wheel wells from the rear quarters of the Buick so they would match the front wheel wells.
  12. My very favorite Mustang is the 1973 Mach I, in bright yellow, with black stripes. So, this rendition doesn't bother me too much, except for the wheels and the taillights. If I had to choose GM lights, early Firebird, or '66-'67 GTO units would have looked better!
  13. Another great MOPAR to dream about owning. I built the JoHan kit way back when it first came out. I have another kit in the stash to try and see if I can build it better the next time.
  14. That's a well done Oldsmobile! Color looks great! Foil work looks fine to me, too!
