  1. It deserves mentioning how great a feature this is. Direct posting has added immensely to my use and enjoyment of this forum. Thank you to our administrators!
  2. I've just polished my first model body with a multi-grit polishing kit. I will run out of the supplied polishing compound pretty quickly. What's recommended to use as a final step polishing compound?
  3. Exceptional details and overall execution. Well done, Michael.
  4. I routinely observe the way in which DKs negatively affect the performance and morale of the competent and capable. I can only imagine the drag they have on productivity and profitability. The kicker is that the guy who writes the company checks doesn't seem to care.
  5. But we'll have our private, unregulated vehicle playgrounds to quench our car lust, says Mr. Lutz
  6. Heard Mr. Lutz on the radio, regarding this article. http://www.autonews.com/article/20171105/INDUSTRY_REDESIGNED/171109944/bob-lutz:-kiss-the-good-times-goodbye
  7. Outstanding Dodge! The vinyl top is just perfect, as are the other details built into this.
  8. That Pete is a real beauty! Spotless build work too.
  9. Looks really good! Nice color choice. I've been anxious to see one of these built up.
  10. Wow! A long bed, short bed and step side for the Ford. My expectations have been exceeded.
  11. That is some of the most insightful and on-point commentary (comedy?) I have seen in ages.
  12. It's a consensus! Your Hudson is gorgeous! Period-perfect paint colors.
  13. You're welcome! I have the same kit, and the Hobby Design PE set also. I'm going to pick up the mask set to make it complete.
  14. There is a painting mask available for this kit. https://www.hiroboy.com/124_Nissan_300ZX_Window_Painting_Masks_Tamiya--product--11193.html
  15. I like the matter-of-fact way in which you explain your work, leading up to your model's reveal. Then POW! we are all floored by the craftsmanship and sheer artistry of your work as we scroll downward.
  16. Well done! Great workmanship, Jim.
  17. THOSE are some beautiful items! Perhaps Joseph can do for the Honcho what he has done for the Bronco?
  18. Well done! Very authentic looking.
  19. That is one terrific Cougar! Excellent build quality from wheels to paint.
  20. Very realistic looking Mercedes. The quality of the paint and decals warrants another mention as well.
  21. Bill, I really enjoyed taking on this project! Despite your work schedule and busy life, you find time to contribute greatly to this forum. You've also started a model club, which I am honored to be a member of. Thank you for your time, input and guidance here. Your work is an encouragement and inspiration to many of us here. My pleasure to give something back to a man who gives much to many of us. P.S. Thanks to my friend Matt who contributed time and advice to this undertaking.
  22. I like the color and the modern wheel/tire treatment. Tasteful mods, in my opinion.
  23. Great Charger, Randy! Extra points for the black out paint on the radiator support.
  24. My jaw nearly hit the table when I saw the level of detail in this kit . You've almost single-handedly turned me into a Ferrari nut with your posts .
  25. You've raised the bar pretty high for future '70 Charger builds. Excellent paint work on both. Well done!
