  1. Such a great, classic look to your Porsche cars. The paint colors and wheel treatments suit each one perfectly.
  2. Give Steven Zimmerman a look for wheels https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10200861029743686.1073741825.1102622756&type=3
  3. This one, perhaps?
  4. Here's an Ebay listing for the wheels. A 100% feedback seller I have bought from. I like your Firebird project, I have a '91 Formula myself. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-NOVA-SS-Chrome-Centerline-Rim-Wheel-Tire-Big-Drag-Slick-Little-1-25-Model-/122734696560?epid=710135477&hash=item1c938ed870:g:xhAAAOSwDNdVkHzJ
  5. These wheels are from the Revell '69 Nova.
  6. Truly a beautiful creation. Beyond exceptional.
  7. Here's the box art. The real car looks interesting also.
  8. Finally posted at Hobby Search! http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10486694
  9. Like it already. Maybe a nice Clearly Scale LS-series motor under the hood?
  10. If I do a Best Match sort for Hasegawa, the first listing is for the BMW 2002 Turbo. The seller, Tokyo-Hobby(one of the best) lists the kit at $22.50 plus $11.80 shipping. If I do a Newly Listed sort for the same term, the first BMW 2002 Turbo is listed at $67.65 plus $16.00 shipping. Yikes!
  11. Whoa, I missed a few updates... Your Ferrari is looking very good!
  12. Thanks for the response. I know more now than I did prior to your answer. Even with the info posted here, road racing Hemis are an esoteric subject.
  13. When shopping for a specific model kit on Ebay, use the sort option to organize your listings. I don't buy a kit without doing a price+shipping:lowest first sort. I've seen so many readily available kits listed at outlandish prices and unreasonable shipping costs. The overstated prices are most evident in the time:Newly Listed sort search as a BIN listing. Never jump on the first new listing you see. It pays to price shop before you buy. You can end up overpaying by many dollars if you buy on impulse.
  14. Is there also an issue with high-rpm valve train binding/breakage concerning second-gen Hemis? Would valve train issues have hampered Can-Am racers of the day? I don't know the rules or technology in use at that time. Thanks for that combustion chamber design chart, also. For the first time, I can truly grasp the various designs. Burn rates and the timing advance required by each make perfect sense now.
  15. Thanks for the info, Bill. I tend to get confused of late, due to my ongoing vehicle issues. Say no more about the gentlemen you mentioned. I know who you are referring to in both cases
  16. She turned out well! The decals and paint are very crisp, and the wheels are just excellent.
  17. Sorry about that. I mistakenly thought there was a rule on the forum against linking to active Ebay listings.
  18. I just came across the resin Dodge W11 (volcano) hubcaps while browsing ebay. 2 sets on a BIN listing. If you want them, act fast!
  19. Follow the drilling instructions on the TAP page to the letter. Don't cut corners and risk damaging your costly case.
  20. Excellent job! I could see right away that your 240Z would be a good one.
  21. Add my compliments to the chorus of well-deserved accolades. It's a pleasure to view your magnificent Studebaker.
  22. Stunning Lamborghini, Dann. The realism is just outstanding.
  23. A fitting tribute to your friend. Keep us posted on the progress
  24. I've gotten good deals on open kits from Ice Man Collections when he was on ebay. He has since opened his own site. icemancollections.com. Many open and sealed kits there. Dean's Hobby Stop has some opened kits with good prices and service.
  25. Politely tell the asker that you don't open sealed kits after they are offered for sale. If you are considering his terms, ask the buyer to describe exactly what parts he wants removed from the kit. If he can't be specific about his wants, forget about him.
