  1. I think your T-bird is neat. I like the subtle changes and the wheels suit the car perfectly.
  2. Tom- I found this while poking around the internet. http://news.american-usa.com/2016/11/15/waterous-providing-innovative-fire-protection-products-for-130-years/ Different spelling, but right place and product. See what you think
  3. Just a heads up, that seller is a member of this forum.
  4. Shaping up nicely,Jeremy. These cars look the coolest in black with the stripe colors you've chosen. If I ever get to do my Camaro kit, I want it to look like this...
  5. A beautiful pair of Ferraris you have there! Great realism and spotless execution in my opinion.
  6. Fantastic Buick Randy! The fender gills and side trim look especially realistic. Did you modify the headlights? I think I see lenses in there. That kit has molded-in headlights IIRC.
  7. That roll cage is a work of art in and of itself JC! I'm enjoying the ongoing updates.
  8. It does mean I'm envious, never having the pleasure of driving one

  10. Thank you for the replies gentlemen, I really appreciate them! I bought an open-box example of 24101 (silver car on box) from ebay. Had I been more diligent, I could have saved $9.00. On ebay 24100 (red car on box, see niteowl's post above) is 9 bucks (with shipping) less than what an original cost me. Live and learn! The kit itself is beautiful. Extremely crisp lines and definition on the parts. The assembly seems very intuitive, no guesswork as to what goes where. I'm really pleased with the kit. Bill, on the subject of BMW's- how's the Tamiya 635 CSI (stock kit)? Might need to add that one to the collection I could do with a little spoiling where model kits are concerned... I tend to over complicate everything and allow the perfect to become the enemy of the good!
  11. That's encouraging, This will be my first Tamiya kit.
  12. I was riding my Kawasaki on a 2 lane road through town. The opposing lane was blocked by a car carrier unloading. There was a pickup stopped behind the car carrier. As I proceeded to pass the carrier, captain oblivious in the pickup gasses it, pulls into my lane and comes at me HEAD ON! I swerved to the narrow shoulder and sqeaked between the truck and the wall of the house on my right. I seriously considered chasing that guy down and beating him silly. I was glad to be upright and in one piece
  13. Right up my alley, as I have become quite enamored with Japanese compacts of the '70's. The wheels look great, I especially like the Wantanabe version.
  14. Perhaps this goes without saying, but wear eye protection as well. The sodium hyroxide (lye) in Super Clean is caustic and will burn your eyes in addition to your skin.
  15. Josh, this manifold is ultra frosted detail from 3D Model Specialties
  16. I like the look of your project. So much so that I was cruising ebay looking for something similar. (like I need another project)
  17. Good to know Richard. I'll keep a sharp eye.
  18. Those are some cool cars with nice detail. Thanks for posting 'em!
  19. Thanks Bill! I saw a nice NSX posted here on the forum. I remembered how much I liked the car, and off to ebay I went. The stash keeps growing and build time grows shorter. The search is a large part of the fun for me
  20. In search of opinions and builder feedback on this Tamiya Acura NSX kit. Thank You! (Photo from Casey Littman's review of the kit).
  21. Those are some tough looking Chevies Vince! I like 'em both.
  22. Thank you! I'll use that in the future, should I see any underhanded items.
