  1. I built a blue one years ago. This kit is notorious for chassis warp.
  2. Beautiful! I started one about a decade ago and still not even in primer yet. Thanks,
  3. And here are the threads on the build: Thanks,
  4. Hi Phil! Love the rear looks of the red one! Thanks for letting me re-post mine here. I can't believe it was built 12 years ago already! The hood was modified with a bulge in the center, struts, side vents, rockers, brakes, wheels etc. Here is the link to the original post with more pictures. This was one of my first posts in this forum when it started, even before the Under Glass section was opened. and in this link I have more info http://puertoriconet.com/images/612 Thanks!

  8. Nice to see another 612! I did a custom 612ig over a decade ago. Thanks,
  9. Hello, Interior is done and in place. Molded tail lights painted. Black trim was a royal pain everywhere. This will go to the back of the display shelf. It looks good from a distance but don't get close... Thanks,

Very nice! Love the color combo!
  12. Nice! I built the coupe over a decade ago and to this date it is still one of the most enjoyable kits I've ever done.
  13. Hello again, Printed my own decals including tiny little curved CORVETTE scripts for the calipers. Brakes are done. Hard to see the script decals. Thanks,
  14. Hello, The challenges of Factory Stock... No more Mr. Nice guy. This was supposed to be a quick snapper to get me out of the 9 year slump. But... I'm a sucker for brakes and calipers. Hey, I've never claimed to be normal! I could not find suitable brakes for this project. So I machined my own rotors and slotted them. But I searched high and low for calipers that would look at least close to the factory ones and decided I'd do my own. So using pictures of the real thing, I did them in layers. It is like manual 3D printing So each caliper is made of 3 parts. I have to print my own decals for the logos. I'm working on that. Thanks,
  15. Love it! I have a few stalled Indy car projects. Maybe it is time to bring them back to the bench..... Thanks!
  16. Love Indy cars! This is looking really good! Following up closely. Thanks,
  17. I followed the build. Impressive indeed!
  18. That is very nice!
  19. Love 'em!
  20. Hello, Started working on the front splitter and rocker moldings ground effects. These are popular options on C7 Stingrays and something I'd definitely get if I had my own. Just a minor tweak and a light sanding before final color coat and installation. Thanks,
  21. Sad indeed. A true hero. Ten years ago I built the '68 Gurney Eagle and it still remains one of my best models ever. Here is my tribute to Dan Gurney: and the progress thread on the build: RIP Dan Gurney! Thanks for the memories!
  22. Following up with interest!
  23. Hello, This project is moving along. Made my own front splitter and side ground effects. First coat of paint. Will sand it down before final color coat. Thanks,
  24. Looking Really good! I'm a sucker for Indy Pace Cars. Love it! Thanks,
