  1. Nice job! Fiddly an appropriate term for the wheels?
  2. This is one of those kits that I didn't know existed, but always thought the subject was cool, and eBay is a magnet for disposable income, and yes I have a slight hoarding sin. Lamborghini Cheetah, it was a prototype, only one left in existence. There were 3 for sale at the time, the top was $300! The box bottom is damaged, instructions are missing, the price was dropped twice so I sprang for it, "saved" (look honey!) almost 72%. It's a simple kit, could figure out 95% of the parts. Motorized, which will be "fixed" with a Hellcat engine, need to figure out a transmission. Nice Mickey Thompson - Baja Kino tires, 4 gas cans. Will ditch the stupid tiger stripes, but has Cibie light covers. The decals don't have the Lambo badge, but I have nice ones. Winch needs a chain, and a hook, the Fireball resin winch has lots of hooks. That's the plan (y'all know how this goes).
  3. Appreciate the input. Good to know about the Lindberg kit. But since this exists, but is currently not available from IceMan Collections, will have another excuse to lurk on eBay.
  4. Cool, that seems to be the best option.
  5. Is there really no kit of the Dodge Challenger or Charger SRT Hellcat? I see there are die-cast models. Reason I asked, getting a Lamborghini Chetah kit, which is motorized, thought keeping with the Chrysler V8 theme would be cool.
  6. Very nice all around. I've considered getting one of these, but have so many others.......
  7. Super impressed! Cheering you on! ?
  8. I've never been happy with my Dremel, seems to be off center. So when a friend posted on Fakebook that he is working an estate sale, spotted a familiar box. I think my first one was like this, instructions are 1992. Also got the flex-shaft, router attachment (never opened), and the tiny drill box that is complete. $30.
  9. We hate you. ? That's awesome, not just any pile of models, but some scarce ones. That Auto Union, seen pictures when I was doing research, it's a very nice kit.
  10. I also didn't know Airfix made it, but I also have zero Airfix kits. Came out really nice. I've worked rallies too, in Arizona.
  11. Looking good! One of the few kits that I've built several versions of. I owned '48 5 window 1/2 ton long time ago, still had the 6 volt system, but a 235 Stovebolt. I know the kit instructions show the driveshaft backwards, because I replaced the bearing at the transmission end.
  12. This is the view, from the roof of my hobby room tonight. ?
  13. Thank you, of course you're welcome. He was driving for the Alfa Romeo team run by Ferrari, had also driven for Maserati. Bernd Rosemeyer drove to victory at the Vanderbilt Cup in this car. Agreed! Two DVD players, cordless phones, one lighter, and a pen. ?
  14. Appreciate your comment! It is very different. The era, subject, resin, etc. I'm not one to build the same car over and over. I've stolen lots of reference pictures, have 3 cutaway drawings that have disappeared from the web. I'm in a period of zero activity, it's always been all-out or nothing. One of my projects was decluttering the woodworking shop, was to the point of having to move something for every task. I had many dead electronic devices laying around, so tore them apart to scavenge parts, and recycle the rest.
  15. Looks fantastic!
  16. Fun to watch this grow..... ? Will have to try the multiple paint detail.
  17. Very nice workmanship. I like how you weathered it. I built one of the other versions decades ago, very detailed and went together well.
  18. Wow, very cool subject, well executed! The 3 wipers is certainly unique.
  19. Forgot that I built the Big Deal VW Bus, long gone.
  20. True sign of a good crapsman, turned out good! Important thing, it's finished, move on to the next work of art.
  21. Very well done! Even has some "home before dark" showing.
