Looks great just as it is.

Looking very good. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Ah yes, I like the setting and perspective. So do you have to turn it on edge to get it out of the house?
-
X2, an update please.

Looking really good David. What will the eventual scenario be like?

What a thoughtful granddad. Did you make the fixtures or are they available?

Congratulations on the outstanding save and appreciate the back story.

Outstandingly beautiful build.

Very well done.

Very sharp. The colour scheme is a bit of a surprise but then it was the customers choice.

Thank you Bob for the information, very helpful.

JC, Yours looks really good and thanks for the 1:1 photo. I am still baffled why Welly would do this model when Maisto has already done one. The only differences on the Welly body I can see are what looks like an A above the left rear tail light as well as the different dash and chassis. See detailed pictures on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/i/173957607573

I am impressed with the way this garage is going. The modular design is a very good idea.

That is a fantastic looking model of an iconic Jaguar. Thank you for sharing.

Maybe some one more familiar with diecasts than me can help me understand. A vendor in China has listed these 1/24 Porsches on eBay but yet they are not in the Welly 2019 catalog nor the USA Welly distributor's list. For me they are very welcome though. The 1964 911 (901) is definitely new, the only other one I know of is the Leo Models release. The 1948 no. 1 roadster looks very much like the Maisto no. 1 but the dash and the base are totally different, poseable steering and wheels etc. The 959 looks like the BBurago version but it has different body details and wheels. Now BBurago and Maisto are owned by the same company and operate from the same location in China but Welly is not part of that group though they operate in China too. Anyone have any ideas about what is going on?

This BBurago 1/24 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR came in the mail today and I am excited to get it. Road racing fans will recognize the Flying Lizard motif from IMSA and Le Mans. I thought at first it was a decal/tampo job on the Welly GT3 but there are differences in the castings and the chassis with poseable front wheels. IMHO good value for a kit price.

I fully support the feelings expressed above. At least Welly is being honest enough to mark models as 1/24 -1/27 on their boxed diecasts.

X2 Plus always willing to share his techniques and progress.

Congratulations on making the cover of the Show Report. That is quite an honor and well deserved.

OMG Rex, I had no idea of the extent of your "dark side" collection. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

That is a good looking build of this kit.
-
Very impressive build and your choice of colors are very appropriate.

It still amazes me the level of detail that can be found in these 1/43rd models.

I actually was looking at those WhiteBox offerings yesterday and was tempted but still waiting on a couple of Porsches to arrive so decided I best wait. Now you post your pictures and the temptation meter is pegged again. Thanks for sharing though.
