  1. I was walking down the street in Brussels looking in shop windows when I heard it coming. Turned around and saw the TR passing by and was dumbfounded.
  2. Really, really, like what you have done with this model.
  3. Very well done.
  4. Thanks for the photos and tips gentlemen. I have been debating about purchasing one of these and had not seen the "raw" state they come in. Definitely a display engine in my mind not to be hidden in an engine bay.
  5. When I look at your photos I have to keep reminding myself that this only 1/43rd scale. The flowers are impressive.
  6. I think you really captured the look and feel of the Corvette.
  7. I found the Porsches on eBay and they come from China and cost the same as a plastic kit. The 911 also come in red.
  8. The 2 Welly Porsches I ordered arrived this afternoon and I am very pleased with them. The 911 is the 1964 901 model and the 959 is the street version of the 961 racing car. I will do a review of each of them once the excitement wears off.
  9. Outstanding build Rich.
  10. I agree with ACE that the Johnson 550 is better than the Flintstone version. Here is John Johnson (Teapot Graphics) 550 as built up. Somewhere there was a discussion once about what the Flintstone resin 550 was based upon with the unusual rear deck but I can't find it at the moment.
  11. Aw yes, brings back a lot of good memories and you did a super job with it.
  12. Sure looks like a GT40 engine to me. Curious about the upward extension on the valve cover, going to have to look that one up.
  13. Looking good Rex.
  14. Wow, thanks to Rex I just found this great thread. Great job with it guys. JC spoke of the Thunder Valley GT40 and here are photos of my build. Also mentioned was the Le Mans Miniature GT40 kit and here is my build.
  15. Looking good and certainly worth the effort.
  16. Neat looking cart. I also checked out your Fotki site and what an amazing collection, thanks for sharing.
  17. In the summer of 1967 I worked at Cooper Bessemer where we made huge engines for ships, locomotives, and off shore oil rigs. The vertical cylinders are the diesel cylinders and the horizontal cylinders are for compression, all on one crankshaft!
  18. Looks great Randy. That era of Chryslers were performance cars, even raced at Le Mans.

  20. Very good looking Chevys.
  21. Looks outstanding and the fact that it was a resto is all the more special.
  22. Exquisitely done restoration.
  23. Marvelous concept and execution!!
  24. I have scratched a few bodies and the key for me has always been to find an accurate drawing.
