The Porsche looks really good. Sorry to hear you are a fellow member of the shaky hands fraternity.

I simply cannot comprehend the amount of work that has gone into this diorama. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Wow, that's a first, fog! Impressive.

Interesting find. With the foam as a indicator can it be a Franklin Mint release? But the pictures I find of the FM release are in camo but it is the only one I see with the Tow missile launcher.. Hmm,

Austin-Healy 100-6 or 3000? Any good kits?

Here is a comparison of the two models. The Revell has the 2 jump seats and the Strombecker does not. -

Randy The Revell kit builds up well because the seams are where the real Healey seams are so you don't have to worry about them. I did change the wheels on the one pictured below. The Strombecker is very simple with no engine and larger than 1/24. You have a PM coming. Gary -
Very well done and a nice addition to the collection. Sometimes it is really fun to find a model by "accident".

Excellent build.

I have a Motor Max Chrysler and look forward to see what will do with it, especially the hood.

1955 Motor Max perchance? How bizarre to find it in the school supplies.

Came out looking great Rich. Is the shovel in the kit or did you add it? Very appropriate to get out of the sand bank at Le Mans.

It dawned on me last week that I did not have a Ferrari F40 in my Ferrari diecast collection. I figured I could pick one up from the Le Grande Ferrari Collection on eBay but noticed the rear wheels did not have the wide rim offset. So I searched and found a Franklin Mint Ferrari F40 for $19.05 and won as the only bidder. Not surprisingly no box or papers. It arrived today and I did notice there was no passenger side rear view mirror but that can be replaced.

Just happened to find the #22 golf cart at CVS pharmacy this morning on the small diecast rack. I may take the top off and see if that reduces the sense of the size.

Very sweet Jaguar. Those were the days and this is the first time have seen it. Thanks for sharing it.

One thing you can try is to paint the spokes in a very dark color and then lightly dry brush the outside edges of the spokes.

That diorama is pretty amazing, thanks for sharing. But …. from my experience in the '50s the 2 post lift is not period correct.

Very impressive. Personally I think the darkened backgrounds in the B/W photos work very well without the distractions in the room.
