  1. I like where I think you are going with this. Did you engrave the stones in the wall? Very cool.
  2. Very impressive Randy. Please let us know when you will be taking orders.
  3. I feel a bit guilty about this because it is a store bought backdrop. I've always done my own but was smitten with this one when I saw it. It is a G scale railroad item and is wired with a light over the door. Not real pleased with the inclusion of the security camera though. The 1941 Plymouth is by Motormax and the barrels are from Lowes nut and bolt department hobby drawer.
  4. It is hard to believe that that is 1/43. And the hood opens too!
  5. Team Caliber are nice. I have their 1963 Corvette and it is very well done. I like your clock too.
  6. Had a 93 white with gold limited. Enjoying this thread.
  7. Well I'll be darned! Nice box art too.
  8. Just a thought. These are the foil under the lids from a jar of mixed nuts and a Keurig cup. Neither is a perfect match for the dash but keep your eyes open for other foil under lids.
  9. I have been fortunate to sell off some of my stash which I realized I never would get built. With the proceeds I have been able to purchase some diecasts which I have had my eye on for a long time. With that being said I pulled the trigger on this Danbury Mint Aston Martin DB5 for a reasonable price. I am very pleased with it and the leather covered seats are a marvel. The only thing I plan to do is tone down the spokes in the wire wheels a bit.
  10. Maxx, if you do an FIA car from the Academy issue I may be able to give you the nose of an AMT kit to graft onto the Academy body. JC, that would work wouldn't it?
  11. X2 all of the above.
  12. I have still have the AMT box but stupidly sold off the model. As JC's photo shows it is based upon the slot car and has no engine etc. Don't mean to divert this excellent build thread.
  13. Is the box labeled 1/25th like the other other IMC kits? The AMT Lola T70 is labeled 1/24. It is a striking design.
  14. Thanks for the update Chuck. Things are looking good.
  15. "Struggling with creativity" is not what I am seeing in your work.
  16. Impressive craftsmanship. The assortment of tools and detail is amazing.
  17. Looks very functional.
  18. I have to ask. What is the red and white car in the background?
  19. I posted these on another thread but they belong here. They are the outside spoked wire wheels from Bilingham I bought from Shapeways.
  20. Confiscated in a drug bust no doubt.
  21. I tried brake fluid on one and it took days to remove the paint. Have not tried Super Clean or Easy Off yet.
  22. Finally some outside laced Borrani wire wheels. .7 inches or 17.78mm diameter. Created by Bill Cunningham on Shapeways. Look out you old Ferraris on the shelf.
  23. Looking good Pat. Thanks for sharing.
