  1. Once again, I am very impressed with what you have accomplished. The clip technique has been filed away in my kit building archive with a big star for ease of retrieval.
  2. Amazing craftmanship. Really appreciate your sharing the photos with us.
  3. A BLACK FERRARI?? Yes, it is a black Ferrari, a 2016 LaFerrari Aperta in 1/24 scale by BBurago. I might have passed it up except for the unusual color and then find out it is a hybrid with nearly 1000 combined CV. It probably does not need to be said but it was a limited-edition Ferrari.
  4. The ramp truck looks super as does the JWA GT40.
  5. Pierrie, I think the wires you have done look pretty darn good. One suggestion is to paint the spokes a darker color or as Rich does is brush ? some Tamiya smoke color on the spokes. Model Builders Warehouse has some 3D printed ones in 1/24 scale which look darn good.
  6. I am not aware of any GT40 painted in Viking blue at least not by Shelby.
  7. Just drop the body in your tote bag and drop it off at my house. That will open up some bench space for you.
  8. Very well done indeed.
  9. Excellent model build. The attention to detail really paid off.
  10. Glad to see you back building again. The McLaren looks super and you hid any flaws expertly.
  11. Gorgeous model and the photos really do it justice. Thanks for sharing these.
  12. I am very impressed with your Pantera. Thank you for posting the photos.
  13. My great aunt and uncle had one of these Packards. According to my dad they never figured out how to make the heater work and always carried a horse blanket in the front seat, literally.
  14. X2
  15. Much better Andy. Your photo looks a little pale to me compared to other photos I have. This one is before the roof was cut out over the windshield to get some air to the drivers. But then when I compare it to my model looks more silver like Pierre said.
  16. A four door sedan no less. The elevated exhaust is unique but no above the top intake? Thanks for the background info, much appreciated.
  17. Wow, I have not seen these at Lowes. The only thing I have found at Lowes is a USPS Mail Truck. Thanks for posting these.
  18. Ok, I have kept quiet but here goes. For sure CSX2287 was Viking blue in 1964 and Guardsman Blue in 1965 and stayed that way through adventures at Bonneville and on to rest at Simione. Now the rear fender flare issue. Cars racing at Le Mans were required to have the body extend downward to the center of the wheels. CSX 2287 had the larger flare in 1964 but you can see CSX 2299 had smaller tabs behind the wheels like many of the competitors did. Now say good night Gary. OK, "good night Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are". (Jimmy Durante)
  19. I too am looking forward to seeing what direction you go with the Ranchero.
  20. Very well built and finished. Thanks for sharing.
  21. I agree with you on the Welly Corvette but can not recommend the Hachette as it has a separate top.
  22. Very nice Opel and very tempting.
  23. Snake It sure looks like ERTL used the AMT knockoffs in the photo on the box. I am still undecided how far I want to go with this model. The stance is a bit high for me. The hood vents are an issue. I have tried various methods including stick ons and am not totally happy with anything I tired. Here I have added a comparison with a white AMT original kit and a silver Revell promo in 1/25th scale.
  24. Outstanding craftmanship Pierre. The attention to detail really paid off and resulted in a very accurate model.
