  1. AMT's 1969 Oldsmobile W-30 442 is finished. The paint is Decoart Dazzling Metallics craft paint that was thinned with plain blue automotive windshield washer fluid and sprayed through my airbrush. I used Decoart Gloss Varnish for the clear coat, also thinned with windshield washer fluid and airbrushed on. The interior was left in Stynylrez black primer with Decoart Satin Varnish brushed on, and some of the seat was coated with pledge/future for contrast. I added plug wires, valve stems, door locks and heater hoses for more detail, added a touch of weathering to the chassis, and used BMF for the trim is BMF. This is a pretty nice kit even though the engine/trans/driveshaft/rear end final fitting fought me a bit, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for looking!!
  2. I might be interested in some of those. As usual though, I will wait for hpiguys build/review before pulling the trigger on any "new" AMT or MPC kits.
  3. Very nice and clean looking build! I really need to get one of these kits for myself.
  4. Looks fantastic! Great job on the vinyl top!
  5. Looks great! Well done!
  6. I like that color! I love using craft paints, especially when mixing colors because it's so easy to do.
  7. I was fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity to go on a spending spree at Hobby Lobby, and lucky that they still had 40% off unlimited model kits still going on. They were actually kind of picked over, but I still managed to find a bunch that I have been wanting for a while. The one near me has a decent selection (at least in my opinion) and even though the '65 Foose Impala, Revell '68 Charger 2'n1, '32 Ford 2'n1, '66 GTO, and Kenworth W-900 were sold out, I still was able to snag all of these. The '69 Camaro and '83 Hurst/Olds were bought at Michaels for $13 and $14 respectively after their 20% off all regular priced items. After this spree, I probably won't be able to buy any more kits for about another year, but boy did I have fun, LOL!! My wife even talked me into the Grease Ford, the AMT Shelby Mustang and the AMT '70 Chevelle, and yes, there were still some kits left on the shelf when I was done, lol.
