Outstanding work! The Orange Nissan grabs my eye the most.

A couple of days ago, I managed to finally put the paint down on my first vinyl top job on a model kit. I used .010" x .030 " styrene strip for the trim and seams. I then sprayed some Folkart craft paint mixed thicker than for a normal color coat, and sprayed through my Paasche H at about 30psi and at a distance of about 12 inches or so to try to get a texture to it. Not perfect, but I'm very happy with my first attempt at this. BMF for the trim after Christmas, and then final assembly hopefully before the New Year, if my back cooperates?☹️.

Excellent work!!

Great stuff Pat!

Some very unique and nice builds in there. The Karmann and the Lambo stand out to me.

Great looking builds! I especially like the Yenko Camaro!

That turned out fantastic! Everything just looks right, and your front grill fit looks a lot better than mine that I did last month!

Outstanding!! Very nicely done! The paint is spot on, the engine and chassis details are incredible and I love the Road Runner on the grille!

That's a great color for the interior, I wish I had that when I did mine. My wife custom mixed some Testors enamels for me to get the right color, this was before I started using craft paints myself. The interior tubs on these kits are atrocious as far as details go, and I might try some things when I do the Burgundy one. I have a bottle of Pledge because I use it as a clear on some things, but I still haven't taken the 30 seconds to fill a small container to dip windshields yet, lol. The Icy Blue is a great color and your paint job looks fantastic. Hopefully your final assembly goes smooth, that's where I almost threw mine back in the box, but I soldiered on, lol.

Looks good in that color!

Well, I'm both humbled and speechless, lol. I've certainly been inspired myself by others' works, but never knowingly been the inspiration, but I'm definitely honored and glad to have been able to. I like what you've done with the body fixes so far, and am certain you will at least match, and probably surpass my example. I will definitely be watching your build thread with great interest. I really like these cars in 1:1 and have the 1/16 scale MPC Trans Am kit that will be done in as close to the Atlantis Blue as I can get, and have this planned for my other build of this kit, whenever I feel like tackling it's issues again, lol.

I bought two, but have only built one so far and I used the same color, Testors Icy Blue. Mine wasn't too bad, but it's still a very challenging kit with poor details. The windshield and final body/chassis/interior fit are the worst. I built mine , but wasn't happy with it so I did a hurry up and finish job on it. I then took it back apart about 8 months later and did more details, put on some aftermarket 20" Snowflakes, and got the final fit more to where I'm happy with it.

I like the idea of getting the coke vending machines, cases and dollies, and whatever other goodies they want to include in the kit, even though I haven't bought a Coca-Cola kit yet. I will probably buy this one even though I'm not overly into pickup trucks, and I'll also probably grab the Racer's Wedge truck, it is a nice looking subject and of course the bonus vending machine for my diorama and/or photo background garage.

What an awesome collection of Cobra's!! Absolutely fantastic!! -
Nicely done! I bought two of these in October, one to do as Dom's and the other pretty much factory stock.
