I finished this one up yesterday. It's a simpler kit with a smaller parts count, despite the fact that you can pretty much build it one of three ways. Nonetheless, it's a pretty decent kit and goes together pretty well. I did this one in Model Master Honduras Maroon and Tamiya TS-38 Gunmetal straight from the can. Everything was cleared with Testors Wet Look Clear. The interior and chassis are Rustoleum 2X Satin Canyon Black with Rustoleum Matte Clear. The cargo area is Honduras Maroon as well, with black, khaki and matte metallic bronze craft paints dry-brushed to try to get the wood pattern and cleared with pledge floor gloss. The flathead was painted a mixture of two different green craft paints to try to get close to, I'm guessing based on my Google research, the factory color. Again, a simpler kit, but a very enjoyable quicker build. Thanks for looking!

So many awesome details on this one! Rusty, crusty greatness. -

Nice and slick! Well done!

Nice! Great job on the paint and graphics, I like that "smoky" look.

I like it! The NASCAR wheels look like they belong on that car, well executed.

Nice job! It does look very good in black.

This whole build hits the WOW factor, but that steering wheel cap, ?!!!!!

The best thing about the Tamiya sprays(assuming that's what you used) is how thin the layers are, but with some colors that becomes a weakness. Definitely a lesson learned with the gray primer, light color-light primer. I also don't envy you on that foiling job, very rewarding yet very challenging as well.

That is a beautiful piece of work! Outstanding in every way! -
Very nice! Definitely has that old school look.

That's a mighty nice looking Charger! Great job on the interior, too. The Arctic Blue Metallic is a beautiful color. That's what I used on my first build in over 20 years, a '67 Chevelle SS396, and I had the exact same problem with the panel lines on that one, even with gray primer.

Looking pretty stellar so far. I'm liking the wheels and the stance. The flat black painted sandpaper actually makes a pretty decent looking scale carpet, and I like the two-tone seats, they give a real nice contrast. I love the color too, but I'm a bit surprised that it's camel yellow, it's definitely more orange than I would have thought. The Camel Yellow I initially sprayed on my '71 Hemi Cuda was much more a true yellow, but I had to cover it with Daytona Yellow because I ran out trying to get it to cover over the gray primer.

I definitely want to see that one when you're done! I'm going the Pro-Touring route with my orange one. I bought a Cowl Induction hood from Lex's Scale Modeling and I'm putting in the LS motor from a Revell SSR kit, along with the bigger wheels and tires from my Revell '67 Chevelle SS396 Streetburner kit. I'm not sure if I'm going to start that one next though.

Working on this one for a build-off for a tips and tricks Facebook group. Color is Model Master Honduras Maroon and Tamiya TS-38 Gunmetal. I didn't think the Maroon was going to be metallic based on researching the color on Google, but I was hoping it was. Upon spraying the first coat, I knew I was going to like it. I was originally going to go with black for the fenders, but I knew if the body color was metallic I would go with the Gunmetal. Progress on this one has been pretty fast as it's a fairly basic kit with not a lot of parts or detail, but I am liking it so far. I'm also going to go with the Dewey, Cheatum and Howe decals on this one.

Well done!
