  1. These are not trim delete options, they are the newer versions of the cars I posted. The 02-03 Avalanche came with "ugly" as a standard feature. Same with the Aztek, but there the ugly goes to the bone!
  2. They might be a little tall, but since people come in different scales, that should be acceptable. I know O scale buildings are close enough to be used without too much concern about being too big. Now if it were 1/22 scale car....
  3. Buy all the parts and call it done! That's a clean body!
  4. This may sound cliche', but where is the model? I'm serious, I was scrolling down looking for it, before I realized that those pictures ARE the kit! Or are you pulling our chain? This is the first time I can say I couldn't tell the difference.
  5. Plastic cladding isn't a new thing, I've seen it added to vehicles since the 90s. Never looked good on them either.
  6. Did anyone make a photoetch replacement?
  7. Just eliminate the view of the deck rail. Much better!
  8. Two ways to possibly fix it, drill out the headlight buckets and file down the front edge of the ring. Or build up the chrome unibrow trim to make it more proud over the lights. Or number three, just live with it. It looks miles better than the Monogram street machine grille does. BTW - how many rivets does it have anyway?
  9. Actually, it's a compliment. Palmer's were never THAT good!
  10. Looks like Megan Fox is going out with Fabio - or Jeff Spiccolli.
  11. How many of the 69 Camaro street machines do you think they'd sell if they put these wheels in the kit instead of the mismatched Motorwheel Fly's it has in it now? How hard would it be for Revell to include a separate tree with these wheels on it? If Round 2 can do it....? If they don't include them with this issue, then what is it that will make this a 2n1 kit? Decals do not a multi-version kit make. AFAIK, the wheels were the only variation between the two kits.
  12. That's the way I like to choose them, completely red (deeper the better), with no pale or orange sunless areas on them. Means they got to bask in the sun liberally before being plucked. None of those hothouse, shriveled, rushed to market frauds in this batch! I wish we had more local farms like that around anymore. Local was always better!
  13. That's not trash, it's the packages you ordered that never got delivered to you, because some lowlife's decided to raid those containers.
  14. Can you imagine how this whole situation could explode if they ever completely go to digital currency?
  15. Truer words have never been spoken about today's current events! This picture has so many cool cars in it. It would make a great diorama.
  16. Yeah, I zoomed in and see them now. But, they're supposed to be glass not painted to match the car. BTW, Hugh Jackman doesn't look too happy gripping the wheel of 70s finest. Does he look like he's got primate arms?
  17. I have a sinking feeling that we won't be seeing anymore of these kits. I hope and pray that the people there are safe.
  18. Is the big, flying spaceship Datsun chasing the little earth cars to run them over? I love how there's no driver in it, and it's supposed to be jumping... over what, I have no idea. Although I would like to see what's inside the box. Were 4 door 510s used a lot in racing?
  19. Excellent color choices!
  20. You could try diecast toy cars. They're available everywhere an have all kinds of wheel designs.
  21. Considering we already have both trucks as viable, currently available kits, I'd say chances of retooling these are pretty slim.
  22. Where's the T-tops? Weren't they on the last issue?
  23. Looks like you found the "Cadillac" of sewing machines.
  24. If that was their plan, they could've used an original kit to scale from and only made new tools for the missing and modified parts. Probably saving tooling dollars in the process. Instead, we got a new tool that misses the mark in too many areas and STILL has us longing for the original version. I seem to recall AMT spending dollars to tool an all new 57 Chevy that was supposed to make the original trophy kit "obsolete", and yet, here we still see the original kit on the shelves. Sometimes, manufacturers don't need to reinvent the wheel, they just take the "kinks" out.
  25. Chalk that one and the 66 Chevy pickup as probably lost in the "Great Purge".
