  1. You could spend days going through this thread. Great photos of cars from back in the day. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/vintage-shots-from-days-gone-by.428585/
  2. I gotta ask. LookIng at the movie poster, I wasn't aware that the height of the GT40s only came to the mid-thigh. Is that true or artistic license? Looks like it'd be difficult for the driver to fold himself into those cars.
  3. My heart sinks at what "could've been". I'm glad they all collaborated to save those molds. Many aren't my cup o' tea, but I'm still glad they exist! As it is, we've lost too many over the years.
  4. MIGHT be good to hold windows and headlights in place though.
  5. Life is a highway - Tom Cochrane OR Rascal Flatts. Move it on over. One bourbon one scotch one beer. Who do you love? - by "Lonesome" George Thoroughly-good! Killer Queen, Stone cold crazy, Don't stop me now!, Hammer to fall, Keep yourself alive. - Queen Everybody wants you - Billy Squier Anything by the Ventures.
  6. I hope they at least have the Imperial, but I'll take whatever they get!
  7. Don't start with a title you can't deliver on!
  8. Happy to have you participate in any way that works best. As I'm not a social media hound. I don't do Facebook, Twitter or TicTok, so seeing your work here is best for me!
  9. I could tell you, but then this thread would get locked! How convenient, huh? Me thinks there's a rat. See comment above.?
  10. That's about as short as it gets!
  11. No doubt that's where a few of them ended up! Never really seen them on any real cars.
  12. That looks nice. Makes me want to take one of mine out and do a traditional stocker too!
  13. I'm glad to see they survived. Please share more!
  14. Light Commercial. By Terry Jessee. Love all your work. I used to read your articles back in the 80s - 90s in the other mag. This truck is no exception, love the execution!
  15. Weathering is top notch! But it's those plaid seats that sold me. Very OEM! How did you make them?
  16. Used to be the "one armed bandits" were slot machines, Nowadays it's the gas pump!
  17. Looking at the list, I'm kinda surprised at some of the kits that Revell let go of. I wonder what they're criteria was for selling off what they did? Did the new owners even look at what they were getting rid of? Or was it a case of "whatever is in the USA, just dump it."?
  18. Can anybody tell me if the parts in this kit are in multiple usable scales? (1/32, 1/25, 1/20, 1/16 etc.) If so, I could see good parts for bashing.
  19. You must have a pretty high standard. This car looks great!
  20. I'll have a "spot of T and crumpets, Mate!" Make that "T" for two! Very well done, especially the stock ones. You don't see those done much anymore.
  21. Here's hoping they'll include that front clip in the next reissue of this kit. Oh, and black with gold Mach 1 stripes this time too!
  22. I've been diggin' vintage Japanese cars lately, I just wish there were more stock versions of American models. Not many that I can find.
  23. Classic build. Slusher's right, photos are also a great way to preserve the thread. In case the video gets lost in the future. Just don't use a photo hosting site that includes a "bucket".
