  1. First off…I am no paint expert…but I, personally would not brush paint a body. Assuming the worst case scenario…I would still step outside in -30 degree weather and spray bomb a coat on and step back inside. That said, some talented folks can achieve unbelievable results using brush techniques. I’m sure someone will offer more pertinent advice.
  2. Yeah! No kidding! I can change out components…even engines and transmissions. But these electrical gremlins are difficult to diagnose.? The shop tells me it is the starter and gave me what I think is a reasonable price for repair so I gave them the go ahead. I hope they are correct, because after a bit of surfing, it seems there are a multitude of possible electrical gremlins in these 2017 trucks.?
  3. My 2017 F250 would not start yesterday. The block heater was plugged in since it’s very cold here right now. The battery is charged according to my smart charger…..but the engine will not crank over. I had it towed yesterday to a shop that specializes in electrical repairs that my regular mechanic recommended. The day before it kept telling me that the rear doors were ajar and the interior light would come on by itself.? I hope it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.?

  13. The primer is safe to use under enamel. Any glue that is used on painted parts is only as strong as the paint bond is. I have started putting tiny score marks with the tip of a sharp #11 blade on the mating surfaces before using CA. Especially on very tiny parts that I can’t pin. I think it gives the glue something to hang onto.
  14. Nice work all round Mario!? The wood looks very real.
  15. I couldn’t work there….I’d be constantly tired.?
