  1. This is my slightly modified four from the MPC Godzilla jeep kit.
  2. Willys trucks (Jeep style ‘47-‘65) originally had the four cylinder. Then in 1954 the 226 L-head six was available. It was available earlier in cars. I have no idea about the earlier pickups.
  3. I know some members here have achieved very realistic results using toilet tissue and white glue to scratch build canvas tops on military models.

  14. Ultra fine work on this one Kurt! I enjoyed watching all the scratch building and fine details coming together in your build thread.? It’s a beauty!

  16. Well done body mods there Steve. Can’t wait to see it in primer.?
  17. My first electric bike was a Volt fat bike that I bought online. Besides being a bit too big for me, it had the motor in the rear wheel and it didn’t have any sort of torque sensing ability. So with the power on, it really didn’t matter what gear I was in. I could pedal as slow as possible and motor sensed that I was peddling and it propelled the bike according to the power level I had set. I know some rear hub systems do have cadence and torque sensing abilities. Anyways, I sold it and bought a mid-drive Cube. This one has no throttle so I always have to pedal and it simply adds to whatever effort I put in. I like it a lot better than the Volt.
  18. Now THAT is a great idea!
  19. Thanks Guys.? Sorry this one has been on the back burner lately. I DO plan to get back on it real soon though.?
  20. Nice work on this one so far Curtis. I like the colours on it and that front end is really nicely detailed.?

  22. Misquoting, often due to auto complete, is getting more and more prevalent.
  23. Neat idea!?
  24. You could maybe carefully fill the cracks with some black butyl caulk? It wouldn’t be perfect, but it would be less visible.
