  2. You did a fantastic job smoothing out that ugly duckling…and the paint job is immaculate. Well done!?
  3. Excellent work on this Oldsmobile Rich!?
  4. Nicely done!?
  5. Can’t wait to see what you do with this one Steve. I have one in the queue, so I will be watching.?
  6. This is a resin copy of a die cast cab that I modified. It is a replica of my 1:1 pickup. The tires are from Scenes Unlimited. The fabric I found a pic online, downsized it and printed it on regular paper. More pics here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/166153-my-willys-pickup/#comment-2486823
  7. It’s a beauty! Excellent job on those decals…I would have guessed the stripes were painted on.
  8. She looks great!?

    57 Chevy

    Beautifully done! Excellent details.?
  10. Thanks, If I wind up using these a lot, I will make handles for them from sprue or evergreen.?.
  11. Good job on grafting those two together! It needs a little black wash in the grill, but other than that it looks great.?
  12. Someone on here should know if they were ever available in a kit? They would be fairly easy to shape from styrene rod or sprue using a drill and a file/sandpaper.?
  13. You certainly did strip that down to the bare essentials. Nice work.?
  14. These welding torch tip cleaners work great as mini files….because they are mini files….sort of.? I used them to clean up the flash inside these rims.
  15. Maybe these? I don’t know of a kit with them though.? https://www.dragtimes.com/parts/PAIR-13x5-5-12-SPOKE-CALIFORNIA-WESTERN-CYCLONE-II-WHEELS-PINTO-CORTINA-CAPRI-_384343757149.html
  16. Really nicely done and great detailing on the engine!?
  17. Nicely done Craig. The interior is really nice and I love that black and silver paint job!?
  18. Nice work James!?
  19. Nice start Jim! It looks like that 3D printer will do some extremely nice detail.??
  20. I found this thread after trying my sand blaster on some tires from a Revell Jeep kit. First I rounded the edges of the lugs a bit with a file and took down the center mold seam (not quite enough?). Then blasted them lightly with the crushed glass that I have in my cabinet.
  21. Why thank you in return for the compliments Marc. I certainly don’t hold a candle to some of the extremely talented folks on here. They are my inspiration and although I’ll never have an award winning paint job, I am having fun with it and that is what this hobby should be all about.
  22. Wow, if you’ve only built 7-1/2 models, then you certainly have done a lot of homework! Excellent realistic mods so far. Looking great!?
  23. Nice work correcting the issues so far Mark! You weathering looks great too.? I have the Crew Chief kit with the same issues. I have put it back on the shelf a couple times because of them, so I’ll be watching.?
