  1. You did that in a weekend? It takes me that long to decide what colors to use….and that colour looks great on it. Nice job!?
  2. I have a roll of this stuff that I picked up in the surplus section at Princess Auto years ago when I was painting my real truck. It will outlast me! I have gotten lazy and used nothing but tape also and ruined a paint job.?
  3. Those decals look fantastic. What kind of a printer do you have? Could you do something like copy and re-print kit decals with it on your own decal paper?
  4. Everything’s bigger in Texas eh?? You would have to get the heat just right so it makes the divot but doesn’t melt right through.? I’d be worried that may crack or shatter the plastic.?
  5. Looking good, I like the colour.?
  6. Pretty ambitious modifications for the first build in 40 years! It’s looking good though!? Gauge decals, if the kit even has them, I just leave the paper backing on and glue them in place. Carry on.?
  7. Like Bill said…twirl a small drill bit to create divots. Alternately, you could use any type of metal rod with a rounded end. Heat it up and melt in a little divot. Then sand the displaced styrene back level to the body. Try a few trials on a scrap body or even on plastic spoons.
  8. That is one slick looking Riv!? Very nicely done sir!
  9. Nicely done, the paint looks great!?
  10. Nice, clean, and simple. Good job!?
  11. It would very likely be the same as the one I posted above. My kit was also Revell of Germany in the flat box.
  12. Thanks. The gauge faces should be black, but they wouldn’t print nicely for me. Thanks, me too!? Thanks Bob! Thanks David! It is just a three sided cardboard box and some craft paper from Michael’s. I have both red and white bricks and use the one which accents the model best. ? It’s not much, but better than having my workbench or washing machine in the background.? I have a service station kit, but have never put it together.
  13. Really nice looking little truck! Makes me want to get going on mine!?
  14. That thing is a BEAST! Well done.?
  15. Nice work!?

  18. That did turn out great Gary! I like the six banger in there!?
  19. Thanks Rusty!? Thank You! The wheels are from the kit. It came with these rims, a set of Cragar s/s rims, and factory hub caps.?
  20. Beautiful work!?
  21. Now that’s a nice Charger Mario! Love the colour!?
  22. Nice looking’56 there Bob! ?
  23. That looks fabulous! Fantastic job on the rims. Is that 1/24 scale? The details are so nice it looks like a larger scale.?
