  1. Wow! That's a very handsome ride! Really nice work and the paint is spot on!
  2. Me too! You'd never know it was a snap kit. You did it real justice with super clean work and an excellent diorama ?
  3. I don't know the show this is from, but it looks really good. Top work with all the conversions and detailing. Very convincing and tidy.
  4. That's looking really good. I don't think I've seen one done better ?
  5. I was going to say that.! The photos are terrific. Makes it look 1:1. Very nice work.
  6. Fantastic! You really did get the weathering right. I've seen thousands of these, here in the U.K. and they really do look like this. Very nice conversion. I appreciate the work and planning you put in, as I've just completed one myself.
  7. Super clean build. Nice to see an old kit built box stock. Great stuff
  8. Outstanding work, my friend! The engine details are really well done and the paint looks bang on. Thanks for sharing it with us ?
  9. I agree, sourcing the right parts, is key. You definitely nailed it. Very nice build, indeed ??
  10. Sweet! You did a great job on it. Colour suits it ?

    27 tub

Looks like it should, in my opinion! Great stuff! I saw similar rods at the VHRA Pendine speed trials, this summer. ?
  13. Blimey chaps! There's some very high quality work, here. I must build more hot rods!

    Ferrari P4

Very clean and tidy build. You have good skills, buddy. I think this was the car that a guy built a 1:4 replica of. I saw it on YouTube. He got the blueprint from Ferrari and built a working V12. Hand formed the bodywork and everything. Take a look
  15. Cheers I would guess you could describe the handling as 'lively'!
  16. I got the wheels on and the body in place. I liked the way the body attaches to the floorpan. It was easy to pop it on and off, when checking the fit of the cage. I made the licence plates with die cut letters, individually applied. The rear side windows were replaced with acetate and air holes drilled. Just got to add some door mirrors and it's ready for its glamour shoot. Thanks for all the nice comments during this build. It's probably been my longest project, so far. But half of that delay was work and life getting in the way. I was considering a stock build next, but somehow I doubt it!
  17. I totally ruined my dinner this evening. Popped some grub in the oven, nipped upstairs for a pee and thought "!the epoxy must be set on the glass n arch flares by now. " and I made a detour into my model room... So I carefully picked off the tape and checked it over. Then I thought it'd be a quick job to apply some Dzuz fasteners to the bonnet/hood. and as I had some glue out, I popped the grille on and lights. As I was blacking the chrome, I stripped the chrome with oven cleaner. This removed the chrome but the shiny base was still on the parts. So I cut discs of masking tape and covered the headlight reflectors . Now the molotow pen has a beautifully smooth surface to sit on. I made some acetate rear side windows, but I made hole in the wrong place and I have to do them again. I'll also make a pair of vinyl die cut number plates, as this racing version doesn't have any on the decal sheet. Around about now, I could smell my dinner. Cremated! I did the roof months ago, but forgot to photo it until now. I think I also forgot to mention the louvres I put on the trunk lid, to help cool things down. They're resin 3D waterslide decals from Archer fine transfers. They do rows of rivets, weld seams and more.
  18. Very nice indeed! For an old kit, these Tamiya Minis go together really well.m nice engine and the finish is great. What about the fuel caps? I've got spares you can have, if you lost yours. Shout me if you need em.
  19. Cheers Dann! That made me laugh....pukka! ?
  20. Personally, I'd like to see it a bit lower, but the paint is classy and suits the body ?
  21. Love it! I'm currently converting a Mini, but using a Honda lump. Nice work. I'll be following your progress ?
  22. Great effort! It paid off, I reckon. Nice job. Makes me fear the resin body on my shelf slightly less, now.
  23. Also fitted the driveshafts, now the cage is glued in place. The Honda engine fits well between the arches, I reckon.
  24. The second harness went together faster than the first. I'm glad I persevered. With such a minimal interior, it needs some detail.
  25. Wow! They're both extremely cool. I used that Honda engine in the rear of my Mini build. They're quite nice. Superb 3D printed parts. I haven't got a clue how to do that, but your results are amazing. Really nice paint, too. I'd love to be able to get mine that smooth.
