Nice clean build. Bravo for jumping into the world of BMF! Keep building and posting!

Sweet ride! I'm thinking about getting one of these kits. Yours looks very cool and classy. That shade of blue really suits it with the white top.
-
Thanks! I used an airbrush. They look better than they do in this photo. I used a black microfiller/primer, then a black gloss base, before applying the chrome. I might try the Molotow chrome, next time, but this AK stuff is pretty good.

Thanks chaps! I'm glad you approve, especially those of you who have inside knowledge of the scene. I saved the paint disaster on the roof, with a stickerbomb decal. I'm pleased with the way it looks. It went down well, too. Got it from a geezer in Germany. The kit stripe decals were very good and a lot stronger than some I've used.

I'm building one as we speak, but slammed and stanced. Very good kit. As good or better than a Japanese kit. Decals are superb. Everything fits. Keep us posted on your progress

I love the cogs on the frame. Never seen that before. The chop is spot on. You made it look easy.! This is going to be excellent when it's done. Nice one! oh, and I take my hat off to you, for your spray booth. Anyone who knocks a hole through the wall of their house, in the name of model building, deserves respect ?

So, now all you've gotta do, is make a shrinking machine. Then you can get in it and drive it around! That engine looks like it would run and the suspension looks fully functional. This, my fellow modellers, is the level we have to aim for. Outstanding!

Great stuff! Looks like your mind ran riot, with this one! Got any more pics?

Awesome! The overflow pipe on top of the radiator is even the right colour.!! Fabulous details. I like the brake lines, too. Engine is a model in itself ? -
Superb! The interior looks great, too. Benchmark paint finish ?
-
Nicely done! it looks period-correct and the photos do it justice ?

Crikey! This is going to look very classy! Beautiful lines and proportions

I don't know. Maybe the Klear wasn't thick enough to protect the colour? Or maybe the surface needs a better key for the primer? It appears that the water got in through tiny pinholes, then bubbled up. I use a spot of detergent, when I wet sand, to lift the garbage away from the surface. Maybe anionic surfactants disagree with acrylics? I don't think I'll use acrylics for exteriors or anything which needs polishing, again.

DISASTER!! I have just discovered that Vallejo acrylic paint, topped off with Klear, is way less durable than automotive paint. I was giving the Klear a wet-sand and the roof began to bubble. Then this happened ?

Thanks! the battery decal is in the kit. Amazing detail. Top marks to Revell (Germany) for excellent printing. If you look close enough, you can even make out the tiny warning symbols.

I was going to go to Wheels Day, too. Luckily I saw the FB post about the showground being a lake, so I stayed at home in the dry and did some kit building. They do look like a bit of a challenge, those Bentleys. There's a little cobbled street, near Baker St tube station. The original Bentley motor car was born there. Blue plaque on the wall says so.

Beautiful work! I showed this to my buddy and he thought it was 1:1. Nice touch with the piping on the seats ? Those Pegasus rims went well with the centres.

Blimey! I'm impressed with the shine on your paint. These cars had a lovely shape. Your colour choice does its lines justice.

After a lot of thought, I decided to make my own flared arches. The Aoshima ones were too big and I wanted to retain the original arch radius. a bit of suspension tweaks and it'll be sitting quite low on these 13's

You nailed it! Very clean build. Chrome looks great. Proper eye-candy ?
