I can never resist a post about a Merc! Looks great. Your paint looks wet, it's so glossy! Nice colour, too.

Turned out very well, especially as it took hours, not months! I'd need to get a dehydrator, if I was going to try this. No way I could get my paint dry in 24hrs. I might try a quick build, one day..

Outstanding! I've often wondered how these kits look, built. They should pay you to do their box art. Seriously. Put those photos in a catalogue and on the box and they'd sell millions of 'em! I'm blown away by that paint. Looks 1:1. Off the scale and outta the ball park.

Wow! ? Looks 1:1. A fitting tribute to Harry. This is the level that I hope to achieve, one day. Inspirational work. Thanks for showing us this superb model. -
Knockout! very classy looking ride. vinyl top looks great. I built a 65 in the same colour, with a vinyl roof.

Awesome! that's a sweet build. The photos are great, too. They do it proper justice. engine was worth it. Difficult to pull back, sometimes. Isn't it? I always think I'll do something quick and easy, then it turns into a project! Lol!

Super clean build! fantastic job ( even though, on my iPhone, the photos are stretched and distorted!)

Nice work! that thing looks like it could haul-ass! Paint looks very smooth, too. By the way, the photos look great and it's impossible to see the areas of chrome which you're not happy with. I'm just finishing up on my 55 and had to resort to a Molotow pen, after the BMF proved to be a dodgy batch or something. Keeps lifting . The pen is great for those pesky attachment points on chrome parts, though.

Now, there's something different! We don't see many of these here. You nailed it. Nicely done and great photos. Looks ready to burn rubber!

If I had three wishes, one would be for all these old kits to be re-issued. You really did this old kit justice. A gorgeous looking build ?

Ba ba! Ra ra! Cu cu! Da da! looks fantastic. The front 3/4 shot looks 1:1.

Killer! Mean and classy! Beautiful work

Very nice indeed! Your engine looks great. Also, it looks like you used tiny bits of foil, under the radio dial and warning lights, then clear colours over that. it works really well! The radio display looks illuminated, with those old skool green LED's glowing at you. Top build! Looking forward to seeing the finished thing. ?

Really well executed chop and customisation! You nailed it with both. Tremendous work!

No Greg, I forgot in all the excitement. That's the other thing I learned about using these masks. 1: apply to a polished surface, for better adhesion. 2: spray a light coat of either clear, or the base colour, to prevent bleed-under, before you spray the actual flame colour(s).

Happy new year, guys. I've not had a lot of bench time, recently. Long days at work. (you know the score...) anyway Finally got the interior completed . I added a PE horn ring and replaced the kit's column stalks, with wire. Epoxy blobs on the end of the wire have been painted dark purple, like the wheel rim, seats and door panels. These old Chevies have awesome interiors. I love the details. thanks for looking

Very Cool, Bernard! if I had a 1:1 '32, it'd look a lot like this

Are you on acid, or something?! That's all sorts of crazy! I love it! -
It will be good to watch the progress on this build. (GerN, that cat is awesome. I've got two like that. Except one is banned from my model room, after he pee'd on the wall.)

Yeah, I'm a sucker for under hood details, so I'll be back for another dose. ?

You're going to put us to shame, with this build! A great start, to a build I'll be watching.

Olive Drab 32 Five window , fuel injection mounted

Koooooool! I dig the wheels/tyres, as well. That's a good tip for getting the velocity tubes level. How did you flare the ends? With a ball-punch or a wide cone, of some sort? I never show my builds, either. You guys are the only people who see them. And that's good enough for me ? -
This'll be a great transformation! The body looks like it was in a Mad Max film, in a previous life.
