  1. Scott...you don't have to wait for Round 2 to re-pop this car. Here is what I did with a beat up Porsche I purchased off Ebay for $10. Decals are from Indycals. ( nI think they may have the RC ones too) Hade to repair the wing support and make a new wing. Luckily I have several originals to use as templates. But still just a couple of hours work here. A roll-back chassis completes this example. It was too pretty to put a racing chassis under it.
  2. Gary...considering what you started with ...this turned out to be a real beauty...well done
  3. Now I know why I have been avoiding this kit. Yours looks darn good and now I know it can be done....hmmmmmm
  4. Andy....thanks...turns out I wanted that Lotus for my collection anyway. (can't have enough Lotii...eh!) I was also thinking of re-visiting the IMC Ford GT. I t was my first build from 1964 and I have enough pieces to do another. Any suggestions on that one. Already thinking wheels and tires and probably engine. Might be able to beat the 17 month deadline on both.
  5. Nice looking Toyota MR-S. Especially the interior. Big fan of these cars, owned a real MK-I
  6. Fantastic build Steve, not exactly an easy kit to get right but you nailed it.
  7. Did that Andy...no pictures for most of the "no Shows" There is plenty of other stuff...I'll find something. I think that is pretty cool you are going to dedicate your build to Josh. He was a great guy and I enjoyed writing to him. Like others...its a great loss. A fitting tribute Andy as it was his last post.
  8. I luv a good challenge and will usually step up to the plate if it piques my interest. Thanks for the push Andy. Now what to build out of the stash...hmmmmmmm
  9. Mario...That is absolutely stunning work. I think everyone here can relate to your dillema (I owned a Corvair with a bad starter motor) In modeling we make memories or re-live them. And everything here is top notch, paint, scenery, photography, lighting.....well done.
  10. Super nice build of an excellent kit. We need more F-1 on this forum so thanks for sharing.
  11. Great progress Pierre. Can't wait to see the finished results. Really liking what you did to theTiger...
  12. Paul,...this one is over the top. Luv the garage scene and the car is great too. I particularly like the photos where there is a lot of contrast.
  13. Pretty sweet Gary, those wheels and tires really make this model pop. And of course, I am always a sucker for a pretty face....Especially if her name is Ferrari 250 GTO.
  14. Excellent build of a very nice kit. Really like the engine, nice job
  15. Bruce...really like this one...but then I am a huge Ferrari fan.
  16. Excellent model Gary, and the background information is great. Always cool to know these little tidbits of info. So...if anyone ever questions the authenticity on the nose of my build I can tell them this story. Thanks
  17. Absolutely stunning. I was fortunate to see these race and even more fortunate to just aquire a 1/24 model of this car. I will use this for reference so thanks so much for the WIP and posting the finished model.
  18. Doug...I have this model done in my collection and I can tell you first hand you did an amazing job with those decals. Took me two tries. A little bit of advice...keep this model away from bright sunlight and flourescent lighting. It will fade your decals very quickly.
  19. John, I know what an absolute pain those fuel lines are. Your persistence has paid off handsomely. This is turning out to be one amazing engine.
