Smoooooth.... Pretty color too. What is it?

I am trying to avoid robbing parts from my 70 kit rendering it incomplete. I did hijack a pair of side decals from it though.

I am using the kit grille. Is it incorrect?

Wow, I didn't even know they did that. Now I will need to get a Boss 302 kit Just because it is different.

Thanks Sam, The builds go a bit more efficiently and it allows forward progress even on days things go sideways. I have used the same process for a number of builds now.

That is strange. I could not find any pics of 69 Boss 429's that did not.

I am a 17 to 18" fan. Anything bigger is just cartoonish.

Nice styling exercise. especially the fastback Charger. I never really liked the stock C-pillar.

Painted all 4 of my Mustang/Shelby batch builds today. The gold 69 rattle can came out ok, The silver 67 GT came out ok after going to my 3rd airbrush and then running out of paint for the hood. The orange 68 came out REALLY flat. Not sure if I can save it. The rattle can blue 67 Shelby acted like I was painting a sponge (Tamiya white primer). Both of my chinese gravity feed airbrushes blow bubbles in the cup now instead of spraying paint. I think the o-rings don't like lacquer thinner.

Painted the body today. Airbrushed decanted, then thinned too much, Testors orange. Covered well but came out really flat. Not sure if clear coat can save it. Painted the chassis and interior bits last week. Engine will be from another kit so some test fitting will be in order.

Another addition to my Mustang/Shelby batch builds. This one is a 1969 Mach 1 to be converted to a Boss 429. Painted the chassis bits and interior last week. Painted the body today. The parts box Boss 429(s) are in the purple lake. I need to modify the hood for 2 4bbls.

Painted the body today. Not pleased with the results. The rattle can blue covered the white Tamiya primer as though it was a sponge. Will probably end up in the purple lake. I ran out of blue paint too.

Painted the body today. Had some airbrush struggles. Medium one blows bubbles, baby one worked for 1st color used, but it resorted to blowing bubbles too. Had to use my siphon airbrush which did ok, but I ran out of paint about 80% of the way covering the last piece (the hood).

I would cheat and make it 40 bay workshop. Never run out of ideas in that.
