  1. I am in the repaint the roof camp. Use the foil you have down as the masked edge. Paint it. Peel the foil and refoil it again. If you leave the flaw, it will disappoint you every time you look at it.
  2. Got most of the parts detail painted. The assembly has begun. The BOSS 429 engine is painted. Assembly will be forthcoming.
  3. Did some detail painting of parts yesterday. Started into some assembly of the chassis and installed the dash in the tub. I have the 427 SOHC block painted. I will start on assembling it tomorrow.
  4. Did a lot of detail painting yesterday and a bit of assembly today. Still need to build up the 428 Cobra Jet from the 69 Mach 1 kit.
  5. Finally back at it after 3 weeks of 12-14 hour days at work. Got a lot of detail painting done. Started some assembly.
  6. Very nice! I am working on four similar vintage Mustangs now.
  7. Sweet ride.
  8. Excellent work!
  9. Most impressive! Very nicely done.
  10. Thin down your chosen color of paint to the consistency of Tamiya panel line paint. Use a frayed toothpick as a wick/brush and apply it to the center cap. This assumes of course the is a perimeter ridge like a Cragar S/S cap.
  11. Nice Torinos. The best man at my wedding had a silver one with the yellow orange stripes.
  12. Very nice! When I was a kid my Dad bought a black '64 wagon with the woodgrain sides. I think it was a flip. We didn't have very long.
  13. Nice project. Following.
  14. I admire your efforts. Your weathering looks pretty realistic. I went with the shiny new concept on my one and only diorama. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/154551-grand-opening-of-the-american-restomod-workshop/
  15. I admire your effort to create the proper shapes required for better accuracy.
  16. Very nice. I like it a lot.
  17. I love the interior color. Nice job.
  18. Nice job. Especially the ignition wires.
  19. Nice project. Following. I just did a mini tub on a 67 Mustang. I too did not want to mess with the gas tank or the suspension too much. Spent more time on fine tuning the interior panels than the chassis.
  20. Cool idea. Following.
  21. Nice work. I loved the flared fenders for the wide racing tires used in the Trans Am racers of that era.
  22. Very nice build. I have the convertible kit in my stash.
  23. I vote skip the engine and continue the artistry on the body. I look forward to the progress.
