Really? If I had known I would have tried to track one down.

Larry, Thank you for the generous offer. I am going to attempt to make appropriate mods on mine. If I fail, I will take you up on the offer.

I did get the Iwata handle. The whole combination has some heft to it. A pleasant surprise that in spite of the trigger and handle, it fits very well in my airbrush holder.- 72 replies

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. A high school buddy and I bought a 71 Galaxie 500 4-door in baby blue with a blue interior. It was a good running n reliable car for $350.

Those black steelies, and 4-speed, really style it as street bruiser.

Great job on the recreation and the smile you gave her.

I have gathered enough items to run this project to completion. I have disassembled a 75 Cutlass promo and will be making mods to backdate it to a 74. I have two sets of decals to make the H/O Indy pace car. Thus begins another kitbash adventure.

Got to lay some white paint today with my new PS-290. I am liking it. Good atomization, good control, automatic ending with air only. The really big cup is a plus too. Clean up takes a bit more lacquer thinner due to larger cup. So far so good.- 72 replies

Getting back to this one after being distracted by two challenging builds. Primered the hood yesterday and painted some decant Testors Gloss white along the centerline for the stripes. I will have to let it cure for couple of weeks before masking for the Dark Blue.

Now that I have studied the spoke pattern closer, you are correct.

Yes, more pics please. -
Looks pretty good from here. When I built mine, I was not brave enough to paint the headlight frames.
