You are getting back in with WAY more options available to us now. Airbrushing, factory paint colors, photoetch, custom decals, and most recently 3D printing. Here is a pic of some photoetch and 3D items I have gotten recently.

Since light blue and white are not really contrasting colors, I would add some darker details when selecting stripes and/or livery. Something like I did with this.

That is pretty cool. I like the way the strip goes right to the hood scoop.

I am in agreement. I have somewhat limited taste in subject matter but high caliber craftsmanship is something I will always take note of.

Progress has been made. Windows, interior, sleeper and fairings have all been assembled. Been adding parts to the frame to. Unfortunately it is curved. Between that and and the generally known fitment issues, I have had to make some spacers and tweaks to get the body to properly align with the frame. I found only half of the custom decals I made for this truck. Fortunately. I still have the artwork files from 15 years ago. Spent part of this afternoon finding them and printing them out on decal paper. Here is the assembled body pending BMF and decals and some of the artwork to be applied.

I am not sure you could put Snowflake wheels on a 1:1 truck. Trans Ams had a 5 on 4.75" bolt circle and I pretty sure the trucks had a 5 on 5" bolt circle. I want to give some Corvette Rallys from a Monte Carlo to my cousin and they did not fit his Chevy truck. He was bummed.

Find some CAT 5 or 6 data cable. One of the strands wrapped around a hat pin should come out pretty close.

That is pretty cool. The Edsel being an "orphan" is pretty rare. You paint scheme makes me think that it would also look pretty in an "orange creamsicle" version.

Steve, I have been doing my research here on the forum and on youtube to figure out what airbrush to get. I was leaning towards the iwata hp-cs but after seeing that YOU use a PS-290, I went and ordered one last night.
