  1. Definitely liking this one.
  2. Were you using Testors Clear Glosscote enamel or Testors Wet Look Lacquer? If it was the lacquer, is it really old stock or the newer formula from recent years?
  3. I agree. It has been my experience that acrylics are pretty inert and very resistant to solvents once they have cured. Lacquer over enamel is high risk.
  4. Fireball actually has Rally IIs that come with painting masks.
  5. Very realistic results. Have you used this technique with panels that have molded in woodgrain texture?
  6. Well done! I truly admire how you take so-so built ups and bring them back to display-quality subjects.
  7. GORGEOUS! Very well detailed. May I suggest finishing the wheels with metallic charcoal and argent silver.
  8. You might have to do some searching around but have you tried https://www.searspartsdirect.com/ What happens a lot of the time is that parts are modified to fit more than one model across a number of years. This reduces the inventory required for warehousing and provides greater availability for more models. It this a gas range fed by 120vac? It is standing pilot? Is it spark ignition or is it hot surface igniter (hot orange glowing stick)? Do you hear a spark when starting or see an orange glow for about 15 seconds when heat is first requested? Does it even have a pilot light? The most fail prone item for gas appliances is the thermocouple or thermopile.
  9. Mission accomplished. Well Done!
  10. Very well done. I like the quality weathering and the missing lights on the car.
  11. Definitely unique. Are the quarter panels on a stock 68-69 Dart that long?
  12. Have not seen an update on this one in a while. Did you finish it?
  13. Nice ride. My dad has a Butternut Yellow 66 for a short time. I think it was a 327 3-on-the-tree. The starter went bad so he would make my siblings and I push him to jump start it.
  14. You are right on both counts.
  15. Photoetch. Hmmm... I need to get me some. The hood is from the old AMT Yankee Challenge. I actually filled in the hole in the hood for the blower and did the bodywork well enough to paint it gloss black. I learned many years later it should be a decal.
  16. Sweet build! I noticed that you have SE badges on the C pillars. Where did you get those? I want some for my Chalenger R/T SE.
  17. Very nice rig. If I ever get to mine it will be a big sleeper triple drive.
  18. Very clean build. Well done.
  19. Outstanding scratch building!
  20. You are truly making a beautiful wagon.
  21. Very nice trucks. Especially the blue one.
