  1. Thanks, Nick.
  2. Thanks, Chang. I've two more colour combos I want to do so I have two more builds coming:)
  3. Thanks David G, Dominik, Chris.
  4. looks amazing, and I like those wheels.
  5. Those look great. Very clean and professional looking builds. Must have taken blood sweat and tears to apply the decals on some of these! Decal heavy kits are not my friends, Lol.
  6. Very nice build. I did one in yellow using the same wheels, great old kit this.
  7. Great detailing under the hood, very nice build.
  8. That's looking really nice. Great build.
  9. Browsing the archives here and came across this from 2008! Apart from the continental kit it looks identical to my first Electra build.
  10. Croeso, Dai. I'm in South Wales too, I haven't long joined the forum myself. I'm still getting lost in the archives of past builds here, it's really something to see! Hope to see some of your projects soon.
  11. Aircraft building has always been more popular in the UK, trains too. That trend will never change here I don't think. I built one or two Airfix kits when I was really young, Christmas presents from family. I'd hang them on string from the bedroom ceiling, haha. Memories.
  12. Nice clean build. Really good job on the rear lights, they look a nightmare to detail! Lol
  13. Very nice. Clean looking build and the paint looks great. One of these rear ended my Ford Escort years ago, the damage was so bad it jammed the doors shut, I had to climb out the window.
  14. The colour suits it nicely. Lovely looking build.
  15. Cheers, guys. Yeah, black paint hides nothing! The paint is one of my better attempts, though it's far from perfect. Still some orange peel in places but I couldn't polish it anymore without rubbing through, which unfortunately I have done on some of the raised areas. The foiling is a bit scruffy in places because my blade was borderline blunt but I thought I could get more life out of it. Note to self.. foil blunts blades like nothing else, use a new blade for every project no matter how sharp it still feels!
  16. Thanks, guys. The other two colour choices I want to do is all red with white interior, and white with light blue roof and matching blue interior. Two more of these builds to come, so watch this space!
  17. Looks great, very nicely done. I like the dark green metallic, very smooth looking build.
  18. The wood looks great. Very nice looking build.
  19. That is real nice. Paint suits it perfectly, metallics look so right on this design of car.
  20. Those look very nice. Good job on them both.
  21. Incredible workmanship. I still can't believe I'm looking at brass!
  22. wow, that paint! Looks amazing!
  23. You wouldn't miss that coming down the road! Looks very nice. I love the bright wild colours some of these came in, and the names were great, like Plum Crazy and Sassy Grass! xD
  24. I like those. Always interesting to see the techniques and paint methods of early builds.
  25. I look forward to seeing updates on these, Snake, interesting stuff. I've never restored a kit, though I have been mulling it over on some promos I've seen for sale.
