Probably my last build for this year. Not a single complaint about this kit. Like the AMT '60 Starliner, I think this is another of AMT's best. The only issue I had was my own doing where my tube of glue got blocked when fitting the top rad hose and burst all over the engine! I tried to salvage it but by the time I pulled it out it looked like a victim from the movie The Blob! Luckily I had a spare engine, courtesy of the AMT Ford Starliner. Having triple carburettors it's a bit of an upgrade for the old Edsel and it fitted perfectly fine, I also added a floor shifter inside being as it's now a manual:)

Lovely work, very clean detail on them.

Loving the sleeper look, those Charger wheels suit it perfectly. Nice interior work too and body colour.

Love the Subaru Brat. There's a spot on one of my old radio recordings advertising the Brat from around 1978 with a really funky soundtrack "I'm a Subaru Brat, what'd ya think about that" lol.

Yeah, ad blocker for the win! I recently had to get a new laptop and after installing and transferring everything from my old one I forgot about ad blocker. My God! I didn't realise how bad the internet has got with adverts since I installed it over ten years ago. It was bad then, but boy, it's almost impossible to use without it today. On some sites it would take me twenty minutes to type this from ads constantly popping up and needing to klick them out of the way!

I try not to collect kits, not because I don't have an interest in doing so, it's that I've found when I have more than three or four kits to be built my output of building them slows down. I think it's cos I look at them as needing to be built rather than getting excited over a new kit arriving in the post. I have a few unbuilt kits that I've had for nearly a year which have been pushed back in the line because of me buying something that "I must build now" Lol.

Great little kit this. I love the background. The car fits the scene perfectly, looks like the type of place where a pay phone would be regularly used.
