  1. Impeccable build of a rarely seen subject. I admire your foil work on this one.

    68 Vette

Nice build and that color works well on the Mako body.
  3. That's a really nice looking build and I like the factory Oldsmobile full wheel covers.
  4. Nice shelves and that Toronado looks really sharp in that color combo. One of my other hobbies is cabinetmaking/woodworking so this would be a nice project for me to accomplish.
  5. Beautiful paint finish on a cleanly built model.
  6. That is really cool. Great work.
  7. That is flawless and mirrorlike paint and something I'm always attempting to accomplish in my builds. You mention 4 polished clear coats which I'm assuming means you wet sanded between coats of clear. Overall that is a spectacular build.
  8. Exceptional work and I admire the great job on the decals.
  9. Beautiful work and I've heard this kit goes together nicely.
  10. Thanks Chris. Thanks Jim.
  11. Looks great overall and this kit is also a favorite of mine as I have several. The plastic does seem softer on the older Monogram versions of this kit as opposed to the more recent Revell releases. Interesting tip.
  12. That's an impeccable build. I'm currently building the W-30 version of this kit and yes, those wheels require patience.
  13. Excellent build in one of the nice colors from that year. Didn't realize resin wheel covers were available for the full size '67 Chevy.
  14. Looks great in that color and nice work on the decals. Just out of curiosity, did you dechrome the oil pan? Chromed oil pans are sort of common with these MPC kits.
  15. Excellent build of a great kit. I've built one of these and have a couple more to complete. I didn't even attempt the pinstripe decals on this one.
  16. Thanks Carl. Thanks Greg. I've always been a fan of the '68-'69 Beaumonts but they're not often seen here. In all the years I've attended car shows I've probably only seen couple and below is one of them.
  17. I now see where this is a retro kit and readily available on ebay. I think it would be a pretty cool looking build as a convertible.
  18. Well you got a very good one done and being a fan of green cars I definitely like the color. Didn't realize there was a model for this one so I'm guessing this is a vintage kit.
  19. What a great pair of Fox bodies!
  20. Great build of a kit that is rarely seen and yes definitely commands a premium price. Color combination is excellent and I'll be getting a can of Tamiya deck tan after seeing the interior on this one.
  21. Tremendous build of a model I didn't realize existed.
  22. Thanks Bruce. Though I like the '70-'72 models, I've always had a thing for the front end styling on the '69.
  23. Thanks Gareth. White interiors are a common theme with my builds...lol. The kit is similar to the '66 Wildcat you just built in the sense it's a rather basic one right down to the metal axles. And like the Buick it offers custom options so a modeler can get more creative like you did with yours.
  24. That is spectacular work and yes it looks very similar to Cranbury Mist available that year. The column shifter is very accurate looking and appears you added the shock absorbers. I see these promos on ebay frequently and think about painting and detailing one in this manner.
  25. Thanks Eric and Walter. Thanks Larry and Jerry. Thanks Nigel. I have this color planned for a '69 Riviera next. I always liked the various shades of light blue on '60's and '70's era cars. Thanks Chris.
