I now see where this is a retro kit and readily available on ebay. I think it would be a pretty cool looking build as a convertible.
-
Well you got a very good one done and being a fan of green cars I definitely like the color. Didn't realize there was a model for this one so I'm guessing this is a vintage kit.

What a great pair of Fox bodies!
-
Great build of a kit that is rarely seen and yes definitely commands a premium price. Color combination is excellent and I'll be getting a can of Tamiya deck tan after seeing the interior on this one.
-
Tremendous build of a model I didn't realize existed.
-
Thanks Bruce. Though I like the '70-'72 models, I've always had a thing for the front end styling on the '69.
-
Thanks Gareth. White interiors are a common theme with my builds...lol. The kit is similar to the '66 Wildcat you just built in the sense it's a rather basic one right down to the metal axles. And like the Buick it offers custom options so a modeler can get more creative like you did with yours.

That is spectacular work and yes it looks very similar to Cranbury Mist available that year. The column shifter is very accurate looking and appears you added the shock absorbers. I see these promos on ebay frequently and think about painting and detailing one in this manner.

Thanks Eric and Walter. Thanks Larry and Jerry. Thanks Nigel. I have this color planned for a '69 Riviera next. I always liked the various shades of light blue on '60's and '70's era cars. Thanks Chris.

That's a masterpiece!

Thanks Lee Thanks Tom Thanks Steve. Aside from the tail lights I think overall the body lines are quite nice on this one. Thanks Craig. Thanks Mike. I was going for the Glacier Blue look on this one.

Round 2 release of the 1/25 scale '69 Chevelle painted in Tamiya TS-58 Pearl Light Blue and topcoated with Testors Glosscote.

Beautifully reflective paint job. Which Tamiya color is this because it looks like a color I'd use on a build.
-
Great work all around and an excellent restoration on the Thunderbird. The color definitely suits the car.
-
Spectacular build.

Great paint job on a great looking car. The color reminds me of Palomino Ivory a 1968 Chevy color.

Gorgeous paint job in a great color. Interior color is sharp looking additionally.

Excellent work and the trunk decals came out perfect.

Those are all fantastic Mike. I really like the '57 Chevy in that color combination and the '66 GTO with the vinyl top. Didn't realize there was a convertible version of the VW.
-
Great color combination and I like the gold colored snowflake wheels.
-
Those are all first rate builds. That Stingray Vette is incredible in terms of detail right down to the calipers.

What Are You Planning/Hoping to Build in 2021?
AMT68 replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'm hoping to build all of the models that got sent to the purple pond in 2020....lol. -
Well those are all interesting and beautifully done models. Now.... I suppose that Missing Link '73 Chevelle isn't currently available but that would be something of a crown jewel in my collection.

What Are Your Top Ten Kits?
AMT68 replied to doorsovdoon's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well they may not be for everyone but I've enjoyed building these kits since I've gotten back into the hobby the last two years..... Monogram/Revell Boss 302 or 429 '70 Mustang (wouldn't mind doing a Mach 1 either) AMT '65 Pontiac Bonneville or 2+2 (basic AMT kit that assembles nicely) Monogram '69 GTO (impressive looking body) Monogram Malibu SS-454 (like the larger 1/24 scale) AMT '70 Monte Carlo (despite a few challenges) AMT '66 Buick Wildcat (another basic AMT kit) Monogram Turbo Trans Am (looks great with the t-tops) Revell '66 GTO (one of the most detailed kits I've done so far) AMT '69 Buick Riviera (molded in chassis detail but I like taking the time to brush paint those types) Revell '77 Monte Carlo (snap kit but a very nicely detailed kit of a subject I greatly admire) In my collection I've yet to build the Revell '68-'69 Chevelle kits, and the Revell '69 Nova all of which are supposed to be great kits. I also have a number of the vintage Johan Cadillac models which I hope to be doing soon so that list could change.
