  1. Would Revell have insurance on their tooling?
  2. If it was my browser, wouldn't it be doing that to all photos? It appears to be a select few people who has distorted pics.
  3. Many people don't know how to adjust the photo size. They may not even know that they can be adjusted. I just convinced a friend that his camera phone has a zoom feature. He insisted it didn't.
  4. Not my photos. Other folks photos are appearing like that. Quite annoying to view. Kind of takes the fun out of it.
  5. Oh, that is so fine!
  6. Lately, I find many of the photos on here are distorted. They appear quite large, and square. Not landscape or portrait format like most forum photos. The cars are distorted as a result. Is this a problem with my settings? Thanks for reading.
  7. That is... absolutely fantastic! Words don't describe how awesome it is!
  8. I built this 1964 Comet a few years back. I can't recall if I ever shared it here, so I hope you don't mind if I do that. This is from the Model King reissue. IIRC, the wheels & tires are from the Revell '32 Ford. Thanks for looking.
  9. FYI, Moebius Models has posted on Facebook that they are in the path of Hurricane Matthew. They will be closed Friday, 10/7. As for the following week, that is a wait and see. They expect they will get behind, and ask for everyone's patience.
  10. I see nothing but blank space with a tiny "x" in the upper left corner. Did the OP remove his pics? I will step out on the ledge right here and now to say, if the answer is yes, they were removed, then.... maybe stay off the Big Boy forums. It's like Harry said. It sounds like a case of thin skin.
  11. Oh my God! Your work is stunning!
  12. The Coronado has a piece of acetate for a windscreen?
  13. Like the '40 Ford nose on the Streetle, but not a big fan of that wart on its hind end. Would be so nice if they included stock front & rear lids. But I doubt that will happen.
  14. Is this open dune buggy in the Streetle Beetle?
  15. I doubt there will ever be the demand for 3D printers, like there was for VCR's back in the day. VCR's proliferated because almost every household in America had one. I don't see a day when every household has a 3D printer. Not even close. The military figures looked good. So why do they look good, while Shapeway products readily admit their products are grainy to the touch? How similar was the units that printed each?
  16. Indeed, the bracket is visible in the instruction drawing above, just flip it, and turn it to correct it. Thanks!
  17. Looks wicked!
  18. Scott, like this?
  19. Just right color combo. Sweet!
  20. Body sides are a large mass, so enforcement ribbing was added around the perimeter of areas such as edge of window openings, and doorways. Or I suppose they just felt it made it look better.
  21. I don't know if this will work for all, as the photo album is on Facebook. Apologies if not. https://www.facebook.com/StateTroopers/photos/a.1147388865334604.1073741845.145952212144946/1147388892001268/?type=3&theater
  22. Way nice Poncho, Phil !
  23. Looks like the inner structure could be scratched with a little sheet plastic. Maybe out of tin over a home made die. Good a place as anywhere to give scratch building a try.
  24. The "Original", or "regular" foil seems to work as far as adhesion goes. Perhaps a little NOVUS 3 stage polish right to the film, still on the backer sheet would bring out the shine even more so than regular foil? Likewise, for aluminum, a super fine grit steel wool to the film still on the backer sheet. Perhaps Dullcote sprayed. For Matt black, steel wool chrome, then spray with matt black spray.
