    Same here. Love those 409 engines Michael and yours looks great. Saw one in a 32 Ford coupe yesterday at the car show.

    My wife and I drove our 1949 Chevy truck to meet up with some friends of ours at a local cruise-in being held at the St. Wendel's Church yesterday. We took 1st place with our 49 for best truck of the show and our friends took 1st place for best Ford of the show with their 1956 Ford Thunderbird. About 150 cars were registerd for the show. Had a great time.

    I went ahead and finished up the undercarriage this morning before the wife and I head to a local cruise-in. Not a whole lot of detailing but it'll work in a pinch.

    Ok....I saw that. Nice looking. For some reason I thought you were building the 65 Foose model. Not a ton of different between to the 65 & 66 to the average eye.

    Robert, do you have a post going on your 65 Impala?

    I did use the Foose front suspension. I had to use my brain a little when it came to installing the rear suspension.

    Thanks Carl. Ok.....moving along slowly and not much to report. I have the front suspension and engine installed.

    Nice. Haha....I assume you are talking about Earl Scheib? I had them paint a truck for me back in the late 70's for $99.
