  1. Killer looking build. Love the deep dark paint.
  2. I went ahead and finished up the undercarriage this morning before the wife and I head to a local cruise-in. Not a whole lot of detailing but it'll work in a pinch.
  3. Haha.....I guess you also told the DMV that you only paid $100 for it to save on the state taxes ☺

    Bullitt

Nice looking Mustang. Had a 66 back in the day. My wifes favorite car.
  5. That's about as clean as they get. Modern day Woody. Great job man.
  6. Ok....I saw that. Nice looking. For some reason I thought you were building the 65 Foose model. Not a ton of different between to the 65 & 66 to the average eye.
  7. Looking pretty sharp there Robert. The interior looks great.
  8. Robert, do you have a post going on your 65 Impala?
  9. I did use the Foose front suspension. I had to use my brain a little when it came to installing the rear suspension.
  10. Thanks Carl. Ok.....moving along slowly and not much to report. I have the front suspension and engine installed.
  11. Nice. Haha....I assume you are talking about Earl Scheib? I had them paint a truck for me back in the late 70's for $99.

    66 Fairlane

Nice job on the build. I like the old Fairlanes and Falcons.
  13. Nice looking Bubble Top. The blue looks sharpe. The first pic looks like it is lit up inside.
  14. Good looking Caprice.

    911 Flatnose

Nice build. Color is spot on.
  16. Nice build. Is it just me or is the rear bumper unside down.
  17. Turned out nice. Oldie but goodie.
  18. Nice. That blue pops.
  19. Turned out pretty slick there Mike. I like the red.
  20. This should be a pretty sharpe looking ride. I'll be watching.
  21. Yup.....this is one to watch fellows. The Gun is going to create another master piece.
  22. No shaky hands yet for me, at least that's what I tell myself. When the shaking starts I normally lay the part I'm detailing on the work bench and lay lead weights on the part to hold it steady. Then, I lay my left hand on the work bench and hold my right hand to steady it. Seems to work pretty good but it takes a lot of re-positioning. I don't get this to often and I sometike just wait til it passes.
  23. Thanks for the comment Bob. Not sure about the color. I bought this kit some time back just to use the body for paint test, panel line test, etc. It's been painted about 5 times and there are cuts in the body from trying to scribe the panel lines. The body currently has been airbrushed with Taimiya X-10 Gun Metal but not cleared. I've been waiting for HL to get these kits back in stock so I can get another body but it hasn't happened yet. May just spray the body with Tamiya TS-13 Gloss and be done with it.
  24. Well....at least you got through it Mike. Shouldn't be much left on that double nickle to get it done.
  25. I elected to put the decals on the rotors against my better judgement. Decals and me go way back and we are not the best of friends. With that being said.....I think they turned out ok. I'll paint the inner part a flat steel. Update: after putting the wheels and tires together for a trial fit you can't even see the decals on the rotors. Oh well, they are on there.
