Thanks guys. I never glue my bodies on so it can be replaced but I have the 56 stored for now. -

It looked like it wanted to rain at any min yesterday morning but the forecast showed no rain. The wife and I decided to pack up the 49 Chevy truck at 8:00 am and head to the Timeless Classics Car/Truck show in Petersburg IN which was about an hour away. It was a little chilly in the morning around 50 degrees with a 10 to 15 mph wind but by the end of the day it was turned out pretty nice. There was 175+ registered cars/truck at the show which broke their all time record of entries and we ended up winning a trophy. The wife and I had a nice day. Hope you enjoy the pics.

I agree with Alan about the People's Choice and Modeller's Choice. I've never been to a model car show or entered one in a show but have been to many Cruise-in's and car/truck shows with my 1:1 1949 Chevy truck. The clubs keep track of who wins each show and try not to pick the same car/truck each show. As mentioned, to spread the wealth. The clubs are slowly turning torwards having what is called a "Show & Shine". No trophy. Just come and show off your car/truck, enjoy the food, and the Hot Rod sene.

I bought my first two pre-wired distributors when I got back into the hobby but make my own now with the distributor that comes in the kit. I don't bother with the firing order. If I get a Ford kit that has an engine with the distributor up front ill probably wire it correctly.

Looks good. About a week ago I finished the amt 66 Nova Pro Street.

Thanks for all the info fellows. I haven't really been working on this kit but I did go ahead and get the distributor wired and painted.

I was using my #11 blade going along the door gaps and slipped a couple time. What's the best way to repair this?
