  1. They're diesel electric locomotives. Give them some credit, they're halfway there.
  2. Not in the US, nothing cross country at the very least.
  3. Yea, I'm not paying almost double what I paid for my house, for a truck. My $200 vehicles work just fine, most of the time.
  4. They also do that to fit wider tires, so the tire doesn't stick out past the fender lip which is against vehicle code in some places.
  5. Also looks like a twisted version of "The Car".
  6. A new tool would be better, so we can have them both.
  7. The Camaro is one of my builts, back when I was 50/50 on painting bodies so I liked molded in color. I did get another from Ollie's so I can paint it this time.
  8. It's sung in the style of "Ina goda davita".
  9. They take a different type of glue, but as long as it still gets me high I'm okay with that.
  10. Is that one of those Palmers I hear so much about?
  11. How do they safely dispose of nuclear waste without harming the environment? Doesn't stop us from using it.
  12. I think the "I don't cares" are underrepresented.
  13. No hood on that Ford. I wonder if it warped.
  14. Not on the road, but in the junkyard. I asked, but they sold it within 24 hours of getting it.
  15. Working on installing a self driving kit.
  16. Sounds like a good reason to watch.
  17. My wife was happy to get one of her trucks back, and then she ripped the gear shifter off the column earlier today. Luckily it happened in the front yard. It's been sloppy selecting gears, now I see why. I just finished rigging it back together, but now I'll be getting a junkyard column this weekend. Most of the important pieces are damaged.
  18. I sure can't wait until I can transport to my destination via "The Fly" pod.
  19. That reminded me of this, the first 30 or so seconds:
  20. Cool thread. Maybe next someone can post a "Show us your rat rod" thread so half the people can say "that's not a rat rod". It's not old enough, not ratty enough, not whatever enough. Then we can break out the dictionary again.
  21. Hopefully this is the final update of the engine swap. Distributor seems to be set, haven't had the check engine light come on. Well, not for that anyways. Cylinder misfire #6. I suspected I would have to change the injectors, just like all the other stuff. Pulled the upper intake, swapped out the "spider" injector assembly. Running like it was before now.
  22. Engine in, started it up, gauge showed little to no oil pressure. I knew I would have to change the sensor, but wanted to see if it was good. It was not, oil pressure fine with original sensor. I had to pull the distributor to change it but the distributor was already off, the computer told me immediately upon startup. It wasn't positioned like my old one, and setting it in the same position it was still off. It's the type where you need a Tech2 to set the distributor, and I don't have one. So I'm doing it like I did last time. Turn distributor slightly, clear codes, run engine until check engine light comes back on. Repeat until light stops coming on. The closer you get to correct the longer the light takes to come back on. I'm close enough for now, I'll play with it more tomorrow. Mental note for me, I was turning clockwise. In case my brain blanks out on me I can refer to this.
