  1. Remember got The very 1st Italeri "accessories set"(764) with 2 figures only, back in 1984, was issued circa 1983. The later 720 set (with 3 figures), was mostly different but kept a few parts from 1st edition.
  2. Another great combo reissue , after all those years... got the original Dairy Queen set back in '81.
  3. Nice work & pricey kits indeed, in mint condition... To bad these molds gone forever!!!
  4. Another great reisssue long time no see for this one (1986)... As mention, Original AMT's 1970, very 1st edition; boxart/decals/ truck kit (truck only: no '70 Mustang FC included just like the 1st edition). Hope to see (one day) the reissues of 1972 Pinto FC combo & later Mustang II combo Great work Round2
  5. Made the "Big Ten... Ford" version back in the 70's... Tough kit to build back then...not the best fitting parts!!!
  6. 90's Diablo indeed was the rumour but tought it would be the coupe one first... then the roadster (a bit like the Testarossa kits)... As mention Riv/Pocher was not in a good financial situation back then, so no wonder the Diablo project was stopped.
  7. Superbe! realiste au max! Alain. Amazing "Life Like" look, a great piece!
  8. Integral sleeper version totally different cab/hood design... not same generation as AMT 70's RB kit.
  9. As mention those AMT 1/16 kits, not the best. AMT tried to get in the 1/16TH car kit scale "battle" with rival MPC & Revell back in 1976, '77, '78, the path chosen was big simplified assembly kits of "modern classics", for "moderatly" experience buiders.Built them all in the late 70's early 80's. Basic level of details & assemblies for frames/susp (front metal axle: no steerable wheels this size???), basic interiors, on the better side engine & optional "70's Street Machine" parts are indeed the best features of these kits (forget the huge vinyl "tubing" ...for spark plug wire!!! As mention Body proportions in most of them are not bad, also mention fitting "gap" on both T-Bird kits not the best, similar on the '55-57 Chevies + seperate door handles in all kits but...molded wipers??? at this scale? also few fitting problems with body frame alignment ... but with TLC you can achieve a not so bad replica.
  10. Italeri got most of ESCI's molds in the early 2000's (a few ESCI 1/24 car kits have been reissued in the last decade in Italeri boxes...expensive!!!) BUT...what mold is available or lost/destroy is still a mystery indeed!!! Revell Germany did box a few kits too many years back, as for Round2 maybe the EX ERTL/AMT (ESCI) Porsche 935 or Lambo Diablo molds? from 20 years ago still around in a crate!!!
  11. ESCI made this one back 30 years ago, was indeed a very, very, nice curbside kit of the CJ7, guess ESCI made this one to "break" the US Market back then....prior to get "absorbed" by ERTL a bit later in the 80's, remember seeing a few ESCI kits in AMT/ERTL boxes back in late 80's early 90's... but not the CJ7 kit....Superb ESCI boxart! Mold with Italeri? ROG?...Round2?
  12. Xpensive but nice subject model (personally a late topline DS: DS23 "Pallas", would have been a bit better). From the pix seen sure looks like a very nice replica when completed. ...Remember the "Deuche" in same scale a few years back. Odd that those "Weekly-Monthly" kits are not boxed & sold later as complet kits, pretty sure Altaya would find a many enthusiasts in North America & Japan, for a few of their selected 1/8th models. Heller introduced the 1/8 "Traction" kit back in 1977 & DS19 1/16th Sedan & later "Chapron" Conv, back in the 80's (tough kits to assemble!....hope your Altaya DS21 a bit more relaxing!!!) Vive la France!
  13. Surely AMT most wanted 1/25th truck kit, a bit more work to do: to get this one on the shelves, but with Round2...possible. $5.99 for the H&H "Alaskan" KW at local K-Mart back in fall of 1977 (remember seeing & buying this "new" kit back then).
  14. Long time no see for this 60's ex PYRO kit, ended up at Linberg's in the 70's & totally vanished since the early 80's...will surely be a welcomed kit. Hope to see all the ex Pyro 1/16th scale show rods kits of the 60's back (if other 1/16 molds are still in this world!) Bull Horn for a Hot Rod ????
  15. Very nice work!... HELLER kits from the 60's-70's are surely not the easiest car kits to assemble The "R16" was surely a very rare sight in north america (quite more in Quebec/Canada), but surely not adapted for upper US east coast/mid west & canadian winters... finish/quality control & reliability...
  16. Bought the same R32 kit as Kratvmnd, about 10 years ago for about $80, at my LHS (still mint in box in my stock!), was stuned to see the low parts count for such a big kIt, was expecting a Tamiya 1/12th killer kit car (with at least 250+ parts), espacilally with the choice of the legendary R32 at this scale. Fujimi took the easy assembly/low parts count route for this large 1/12th kit (reminds me a bit of the Monogram 1/12th kit type), as mention the engine is pretty bare, as well as the chassis, & interior, bare but mostly accurate (tires are stunning) a nice piece when completed, seen a few finished ones in model car contests. Indeed a Veilside "Tokyo Tuner" (R32's were surely the "Queens" of Jap Tunning back then) type & Racing versions were also made a bit later. Not a bad kit: very easy to assemble & very good looking when completed of this legendary Japanese coupe...you'll like it, but getting any versions at a good (reasonable!!!) price is harder then ever When (IF?) Fujimi reissues any versions of this kit ...expect a hefty price tag
  17. Fantastisch! Herr Schmidt. A real museum/master piece for sure.
  18. A few of these kits had been reissued in past years (seperatly), so possible to recreate most of the original combos, not all ('63 Nova Wagon) but many, most of them would/are still available, "Fang Tang" team one of my favorite combos, both the '68 Shelby & '69 Galaxie available now or not so long ago. As already mention, Round2 should seriously think about reissuing those racing combos in original '67 to '69 AMT racing combo boxes, (including the 70's Chevy Van & Ford PU race combo ones) would be hot sellers for sure.
  19. Always wondered.... Why the AMT DEORA kit was put in an MPC box in the 80's??? under ERTL/amt/mpC (Tom's box).... kool boxtop builtup!!!...look way better in it's unretouched color
  20. ... Very impresive work!
  21. When Matchbox (AMT) made the CL & LTL 1/32 Snapers kits, back in '79 or '80, surely tought that we would see an AMT 1/25th (Plastic) CL kit for sure, back then... never came As for KFS resin kit, not bad, but needs patience, remember seeing a builtup on Tim's website a few years back.
  22. Very, very, nice! True that the CL9000 should have been kitted in... 1/25th scale. One of the great looking COE back then.
  23. Nice! quite a different subject indeed, this ZIL..sorry!... ZIS truck
  24. Old mold still running... Lindberg got this one out back in the mid 60's, was reissued many, many times in the last 45+ years, not bad at all for a... Lindberg kit of the 60's! As mention...White Walls are definetly a no-no & wire wheels in box... well... Try also Lindberg's Bugatti Royale
  25. Very, very nice, perfect combo with the chrome tanker. What a great kit: this 1982 Revell Pete 359
