  1. This is actually the end of the box, not the top-- you can tell by the position of the shink wrap seam. Same box as the first image. The above is only a 2D image, not an actual box. Unlike the first image, which can be found on a 3 dimensional box, I've never seen the "Motor Sports" version in 3 dimensions, as an actual kit for sale. IIRC, that was preliminary box art prior to the actual release.
  2. With Revell getting back on its feet within the last few months, I don't doubt supply isn't exactly plentiful, but it's hardly a unicorn, and you can buy two on eBay for a reasonable price right now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/85-OLDSMOBILE-442-FE3-X-SHOW-CAR-1985-F-S-Plastic-Model-Kit-hedders20oo/163452556752?hash=item260e8815d0:g:kBcAAOSwgzFbaldL:sc:USPSPriority!53222!US!-1:rk:1:pf:0 I think you might be best off posting an add in the anted section, hoping someone parted one out and didn't use the stock, 442-specific parts. Buying the specific parts you need from an eBay seller who parts out kits and sells the parts in groups is another option, too. Maybe I don't know-- are there parts specific to the stock(?) 442 version you want o build which are not included in the 442/FE3-X issue of the kit?
  3. Can you start with the #4446 '85 Olds Cutlass 442/FE3-X Show car kit instead?:
  4. According to what I read online (so you KNOW it's 100% true ) it's the name Chevrolet used for their light duty trucks, while Viking was used for heavy duty models. I'm sure Bill B. or someone else/ would know for sure.
  5. Thank you, Dylan.
  6. AMT 1961 Ford Falcon Ranchero: AMT 1961 Ford Galaxie: AMT 1962(?) Chevrolet Corvair Monza Coupe:
  7. Thanks for the info, both of you. I have some sleuthing to do...
  8. I have two slightly different styles of Chevy dog dish style hubcaps, but not sure which kit(s) each was included with. *edit* Below left, caps from the AMT Chevy Van kits, but not sure on the caps pictured on the right...MPC, maybe?
  9. I suspect the obstacles are the kit is 1/20 scale, it's an obscure subject, and likely wouldn't be a good seller.
  10. #8 looks like it might be from the Ed Roth Mysterion, hard to tell from the straight on angle:
  11. It would be great to see Round2 create new cartoon style box art for the forthcoming '40 Willy Pickup kit. Does anyone know which artist created the cartoon box artwork?
  12. First issue was #3050: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/992/mpc-3050-chevrolet-corvette-sting Second issue, #3052, Shaker Vette: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/979/mpc-3052-shaker-vette Third issue, #3054, RoD ShoP Vette: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/987/3054-shop-drag-stingray-coupe Fourth issue, #3056, SuperVette: Fifth issue, #3072, The Original Corvette Sting Ray: Sixth issue, #3076, 1963 Corvette:
  13. ^This. Nicely done. Very clean all around.
  14. Not sure where the lines between individual parts and "complete bonuses" lies, but this topic has lots of pics and info on individual parts and small parts groups:
  15. Here's that topic: Someday I'd like to get both in my hands, just to closely compare the two. Yamaha motorcycle from the 1/25 MPC '74 Dodge Sports Van:
  16. Very similar. You can check out the parts breakdown via the instruction sheet here: http://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/979/mpc-3052-shaker-vette All of those extra, specially designed parts and pieces for this specific issue to allow the motor to operate inside the engine block remind me of the functioning body lift parts in the 1/12 Mean Maverick. I doubt the added cost and complexity was recouped by MPC.
