  1. I got this Takom 1/16th military Jeep kit and I must say I am impressed with Takom, first time I've seen one!
  2. All good stuff Jim! I used the 390 from the AMT Starliner in my '53 pickup, tons of mods but that's what is so fun about this hobby! (it's more of a 352, but I call it a 390) LOL Good choice for your build, vintage Ford engine!
  3. Not sure about the static, but the pickup looks fantastic! I love the mods and that engine looks sweet! Well done!
  4. Wow, that looks great already, NICE!!!
  5. Wow, great MoPar factory you have! I love the conversion to "post" cars, nice! Can't wait to see more, oh and those dollies, very cool too!
  6. Wow, I love that! How did you make those cool headlights?
  7. I think the easiest way is to very slightly enlarge the openings. It's looking great though already! That lowered real one with the chrome wheels looks fantastic! That white chassis with the nail head also looks amazing! Keep us posted on your progress, I'm loving what you're doing with this beauty!
  8. Nice color! And paint job! I forgot how cool the early versions of that body style were, which GM dragged on far too long, yours is cool!
  9. I'm liking what you're doing!
  10. Wow, that's looking good already, nice hinges, under trunk bracing, all very cool! Engine, chassis and parking brake look cool too! Can't wait to see more of it! Cheers!
  11. Great interior and chassis details, very nicely done....... so far!
  12. Wow, I'll be watching this cool Bronco come together!
  13. It's the Takom 1/16th new issue, no build thread yet, but I should, Cheers! I made the rims and am using R/C tires, plus I modified the suspension, oh, yeah all that will be in the build thread! LOL
  14. This thing is on the back burner while I finish my 1/16th scale Jeep, but I WILL get back to it for sure, cheers!
  15. Great Hot Rod project Greg, I'm lovin' the detail shots with explanations, cool stuff!
  16. Wow that's a beautiful build, great color combo and stance, sweet!
  17. Wow, that is beautiful, sets a very pleasant tone, I love it! I'd love to be there!!
  18. WOW! Loving this build, please keep posting pics, it's so cool, so cool!
  19. Love that stance!
  20. Very cool project, or projects! Where did you get that underhood piece?
  21. For an "easy" white paint job, I've used Tamiya fine white primer followed by clear, from the can!!! I wasn't planning on white, but it looked so good, it's so fine.
  22. Off to a good start, choose a color yet?
