That’s mighty cool.

I was very excited to hear of this reissue, and glad to hear they upgraded the kit. I have two on the way from HLJ right now. I’m interested to see how yours goes together. Looking good so far.

When I was young and without the benefit of a decent place to build, my building and painting was done in the garage. I would would work and paint at temps as low as -10 c. I can say with certainty that taking the freshly painted model into the warmth is the worst thing you can do. Condensation can mess up your paint bad.

Outstanding GT40. Nice work, fine finishes. Really loving the work on the side glass. Superb. -
Fantastic Swamp Rat. The added details really bring it to life. You captured the sinister vibe of the real thing. Very cool!

Great collection. Very cool work. There’s an entire weekend’s worth of racing there.

Excellent model building, Joe. Nice detailing and very clean. That Cammer looks ready to go. Overall seriously cool look. Love it!

It's coming along Kurt, despite your struggles. That primer seems a real nuisance, especially as concerns the rivets. Stick with it, man. It's going to be cool.

Very interesting. Never heard of this one, but I was quite curious due to those very pleasing lines. I never would have guessed this as French.

LMG enterprises polishing kit
Bainford replied to RJWood's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have the old MSC polishing kit I purchased from LMG Enterprises in the early 90s. Here’s the instruction sheet for that kit. -
Just to add to the info in this thread, the Petty Charger kit pictured here DOES have all of the red on the decal sheet.

Super sweet 442, Jr. very clean, and those colours just pop. Well done!

I’ve had a couple of the MPC Petty ‘74 Chargers over the years, both moulded in light/medium blue body & engine with black chassis parts. All of the red was decal

Looks great. Nice stance, though I agree a tad lower in the front would look pretty tasty. The rear wheels are sweet in those wheel well. The bare chassis shot is a thing of beauty. Rock on. -

Real nice bed work. -
The Ferrari BB512 still exists as my oldest surviving build. It also holds the distinction of being the first model at which I pointed an airbrush. By them I had already built the Countach and the Ferrari Rainbow, and was disappointed at having wasted my very precious allowance on such basic kits. The BB512 was a Christmas gift, and having already been burnt on the MPC sports cars, it became my airbrush guinnie pig. It was also when I learned red plastic bleeds through white paint.

This may be the nicest build I have seen of that series of MPC sports cars. Well done. I built a few of them in the 70s, but didn't do this one.
