  1. On the bright side when we get old and get lost our family will have a way to find us, if we have our phone with us.
  2. This was happening to my friend last year, I was thinking it was because of his brain surgery to remove a tumor that he was thinking like I do. I do not want a tv hooked to the net my cell phone is enough tracking on me.
  3. I wonder if we will get to a point of very few sprue's in the kit we purchase. I think may be reduced by 50% at the most. Every little it they can reuse than does not leave the plant the better.
  4. For years here things were thrown into rivers and lakes to get rid of it. Out of Sight out of mind. It has taken years, no decades to cleanup this mess around here and it is not done. It is hard to go reverse the harm we have done because of many reasons. We know better but things are still discarded along the roads in ditches or just litter from lazy people. While fishing in Michigan around Oscoda this year I picked up a pull tab that was in the path. It was in great shape considering they stopped using them in the early 80's. Yes I know this was made of Aluminum but it will take more time than we think to clean up the mess we have made. Let us hope the knee jerk reaction is not to severe.
  5. I second this.
  6. I would but at least 1 as long it was for the testers kit.
  7. Finding good wheels when you get one that is only parts is not easy. With the prices of these on ebay more than a few of us like this kit.
  8. This is a good and brave idea to make it a 2 door. I like it.
  9. Nice
  10. I can hear Cheech & Chong playing in the tape deck from here. I love it.
  11. They all look good to me.
  12. Looks good.
  13. Now that is a way to finish up the year.
  14. Another nice Model. Tim didn't take any guff back in the day. NASCA sure lost a lot when he past.
  15. That is a very nice model. I started this one when it came out way back. Dropped it twice while painting the body, after the second time it looked like Dirty Dale was trying to pass after I stepped on it. Yeah not a good moment to be angry. LOL
  16. Don't tell people but SUV's / crossovers are just a station wagon anyway. Still cracks me up when someone replaces a name and we humans fall for it. The biggest reason people love the crossovers and suvs is they are easy to get in and out of and you can see better.
  17. What you say is somewhat true. The other way to look at it is what are the alternatives? They can only fill the shelves with what they can get. In your post you said you wanted to spend a ton of company money on a large group of GM branded cars. Not that it is a bad thing but expand on how you could save money, Like use the same engine tooling on the Chebby brand as they are the same. One small mold only paying for the tooling cost and getting more bang for your buck. If it gets a big block throw that sprue in. If it gets the small block throw that one in. Exhaust and intake could have many options on the same "molded part". Wheels could be dealt with the same way. Just put the correct wheel covers on the body sprue. Why do they constantly repay for what they already have. A smaller machine takes up less space and square footage is expensive.
  18. Yes the whole thought of this is funny. Almost looks like he is trying to look out the slot for the barrell to aim and drive. Looks to be a gas tank in the middle of the frame as I see a cap of some sort. Maybe it is a big canteen to hold the liquor so you get the guts to try and use it. I think the recoil may help in retreating.
  19. That came out nice. Takes me back to high school in the 80's.
  20. Is that a 4'x6' box with 3/32 holes about 1/2 apart and an Aluminum top piece?
  21. Looks good to me.
  22. I would like to add to my earlier post, I like how you took a kit that many people do not like and made a beauty out of it.
