  1. Ray this is still some nice work you have going on here. The carb you painted is not that bad. What do you wash the parts with before you paint them?
  2. 23 at my place, headed down to the single digits tonight.
  3. I like this. The fact that it was built by your dad makes it even better. When you get yours built they will look great side by side.
  4. I wonder why people on here defend Tamaya for selling curbside kits at 20% to 30% higher than the companies here do for full detail kits. The Olds 442 and Mustang kit from Revell just a few years back had full engines and they were not 40 to 50 bucks. Is it because they are paying more for the licensing of Various Brand names on the product?
  5. Drove Dad down to see the Local Hockey Team. The Toledo Walleye. They beat the Fort Wayne Comet's 11 to 0. They scored 6 goals in the 2nd period (a record) and Dad was smiling the whole time. His Memory is fading and the later he is up it is worse. Tonight was a good night with his memory.
  6. Aydin have you tried to place the painted model in an inclosed box, cabinet or tote so that the dust in the air doesn't land on it? Try reading through here. Some good information and some filler.
  7. Another well built model from you. Looks like the one a late friend used to restore Model A Fords with.
  8. Yes he does Snake. I have looked at a lot of it over the years. I have also purchased some of it.
  9. Jimmy Flintstone is casting the small Chevy van from the 60's. I had a look at AutoRama in Detroit, it looks good. Should be on his site soon if not already. He had 4 there and 1 guy bought them all.
  10. Tim Thank you again for posting your pictures for us to see. You are pictures are miles better than I can do with my phone. That 60 Ford Wagon was over the top cool. Pic 319 and 320 I recall. I spent about 15 minutes checking that car out. The paint with the airbrushed wood grain was amazing. Just trying to figure how that Willys was a great 8 and not the wagon. I am sure the caddy Nomad will win though. All very nice cars.
  11. Yes I agree with the others, looks great.
  12. That looks better already.
  13. This why I have more than 2 of these.
  14. As Peter has stated get yourself a genuine Optivisor, as they sell different lens that have different magnification. If your eyes are not to bad get yourself the readers and buy yourself a good light.
  15. Like the rest I like this a lot.
  16. Maybe a wheel well looking indentation in the fenders? It looks as though the exhaust would be behind the front wheel turning radius. I like the work you are doing on this. Nice color choice also.
  17. My name is because I have one in the garage. My avatar picture is the 20 Millionth Ford. My late friend did all the metal work on the restoration of that car here in Temperance.
  18. Not even a big truck guy and this is cool. Well done.
